Teams seem to be effectively predicting Harden's passes especially them ally hoops and pocket passes in the paint. He needs to mix up them passes more to avoid turnovers.

Because 12 TOs are way more rare than triple doubles these days.

    Harden had both :D

You could tell Toronto really did their homework and studied James and his tendencies.
They seemed to anticipate every alley-oop and kick out pass.
Seemed they knew what he was gonna do before he even did it.
Blocked one of his alley-oop attempts. Disrupted when he tried to dish underneath.
Also jumped in front of kick out passes and cutoff those lanes

Still don't understand why James wouldn't take a shot in the first half though
Seemed more hesitant than Democrat Congress trying to formulate a budget.
    Very peculiar.

And why did we have to wait until 5 min left in the game to make a serious charge?

Tough loss, they came prepared, and showed up all of our offensive weaknesses.
It can be a turning point for us, realizing that we can't just count on Harden to make a play and Dantoni can put some of his schemes.
Until now it was like, well we won't fix what's not broken but now we see how easily it can get broken.

They always play like absolute dogcrap when my family comes into town and I buy a ton of tickets for all of them. Eric Gordon was straight garbage. Seemed like the game went downhill everytime he was in the game, bricking wide open 3s and dribbling without a plan taking up most of the shotclock and turning it over everytime he drove. Raptors had Harden the PG figured out for the most part.

Lmao I didn't watch the game. I was chilling at the City Centre. Judging by posts on this page, looks like the Rockets lost and I didn't miss much

    Suckas

Raptors studying tapes to play off our game plan should be no surprise. Casey is one of the best if not the best defensive coach in the game. Hence the Raptors being an borderline elite defensive team with the Likes of Demare Carrol(another guy that we had and let go) and Lowry playing the passing lanes should come as no surprise. The problem was our own careless turnovers and lack of perimeter defense. Those are the things you can control.

Lost count how many easy wide open jumpers the Raptors had due to guys not rotating fast enough on the perimeter. On offense we just missed everything unlike them who were hitting everything. We were our own worst enemy for the most part.

Just when you start to get excited these guys go and fire off a stink pickle. What's up with Gordon. Dude would need to sit down in order for his pee to hit the pot lately. Discouraged with these last couple games. Especially after seeing golden state make the Lakers their prison girlfriends tonight.

I hope MDA is not afraid to rip Harden a new one for that pathetic display of laziness and work on getting that ball movement, fast paced offense of his. **** James' stats, he's not a leader you can count on every night and this game is exactly why all the analysts are right when they say he's not the best player. No defense, no leadership, no killer mentality every single game and no changing his game to adapt to the defense.

Glad to see Nene yell at Harden, but of course Harden didn't care and just looked at him. He just refuses to own up to his laziness on defense. It's not just him though, I don't believe one bit that they are working on defense in practice. The only time it's looked good is when they play with effort. There's still the switch everything on giving up wide open threes. MDA needs to look at himself on say, I'm gonna care about defense.

Capela is the bright spot, along with Dekker & Beverley.

By the way, when you see them wearing those atrocities called jerseys, you know it's a bad night. Never wear those things again!!!

Games like this prove that Harden only cares about arbitrary stats. He has to get his double digit assists and 25+ pts. He runs the offense at a snail's pace. He runs the pick and roll so slowly. He brings the ball up slowly. He makes lazy passes. This isn't fast paced at all. His slow movements make him predictable. Opposing teams are predicting his passes because they are so god damn obvious now especially that lazy ass bounce pass from the pick n roll. Jesus Christ do opposing teams have him figured out. He's just too slow. His game has gone too far in the 'old man' game department thaf he is known for. When he first came to the Rockets he had SOME athleticism and speed. He has NONE of that now.

Eh, hard to disagree with this...unfortunately. I also think a guy like Horford wasn't trilled enough about the idea of play with James, right or wrong, i just think he saw a more serious environment in Boston, let's say...and do you remember cyberx saying that Love wasn't trilled either? And what about KD who's his best friend? I hope to be damn wrong obviously, but it's not looking good thinking about our next free agency.

Harden definitely has lost his athletic style of play.
When's the last time he dunked on someone?
Or a dunk in traffic? No more bulldozing down the lane, instead he attacks to look for the foul.
He needs to look at old videos of himself and go back to that.
