i can't predict a win if i think that those scrubs at the end of the bench will play most of the second half again. and since i think that will happen, i say another second half disaster.


BTW, when is bonzi expected back in action?

No worries. Deke and JHo can man the 5 spot. JVG is just checking out the young guys for another game. We won't get serious with the line-up until the last two games. I like the experiment with Chucky at center. Wes Unseld was 6'7" (which Chucky should be listed at) and he won the league MVP in the same year that he led the Washington Bullets to an NBA title. Guy was a wide-body who could defend and rebound like the dickens. Sound familiar?

 

Thanks. Unfortunately I'm not in the spot beam that covers Houston area. Actually I couldn't see any local channel on DISH that serves Houston, Dallas or SA area. Still good to know that it will be on DISH because it may appear on other channels as well. For example, the last game was shown on 444 and 5800.

 

According to the 610, Wells and Yao would stay in Houston. Wells will not play tonight.

 

so some, it's just preseason. to us, it's the time when our beloved team figures out who will make the roster and moreover, who will get PT!

 

The fact that Mutombo is on his last legs is emphasized by JVG using Hayes as a temp. starter, which in turn I interpret as JVG overusing Yao Ming this upcoming season, by expecting him to play too many minutes.
I say we need a big athletic Power Forward or another back up Center.
Hayes and Battier won't cut it when it comes down to playing the big boys!!

 

Something new at last. Almost all teams have some sort of weakness at different positions, and ours just happens to be the 4.

 

I had this problem too. All I did was go to www.windows.com and downloaded the latest Windows media player update and that fixed it for me. Also I downloaded the latest divx codec but I'm not sure that was the problem.

 

its cool to watch the new guys play, but what i really want to see is Yao, Tracy Bonzi and Shane on the court at the same time, until we see that combo for an extended period of time, we will be unable to get a grip on how good we can be.

I do love the youth movement though, we went from old and broken down to young and athletic.

 

T-MAC should get more min. tonight. JVG said this previously due to the fact he is trying to get him conditioned back for a full 48 min.
