Or it could still be the curse of 40-pts loss in game 7 1st round playoffs.

I think the Texans have ruined my sports mentality...all I want from the Rockets is for them to play a close competitive game...I could care less if they won or lost

Playing bad is understandable as for Yao in his first game. I am happy to see all the problems exposed so early in the preseason.

Well it's not like the Mavs are playing good either. All this crapola on display and we're still down by only 2 points.

Funny... Azubuike is looking better than TMac, Yao, and Shane today.

The Rockets starters all look tired, like they had explosive diarrhea all day.

I also wouldn't put it past Van Gundy to throw a bunch of plays that he wouldn't regular use out there today just to keep info away from the Mavs. This is the guy who is super secretive about his practices after all.

hey our 2nd unit is doing well against their 3rd unit! Haha that says SOMETHING. It's now 54-52! End of third quarter.

LOL! What were you expecting? Did you seriously think that after taking a bunch of extra shots in practice all summer Rafer would suddenly turn into an All-Star?

Rafer is too unreliable an outside shooter.

Do remember Mavs lead by using mostly bench players while we are playing Yao, TMac, Battier, Alston for major minutes... Yao is understandable, but the others are just day-dreaming or purely awful.

I don't know but JVG's substitution pattern leaves a lot to be desired. Yao was hitting his shots in the 1st quarter when he was replaced, then Hairyass had the same fate later on.

C'mon Gundy, can't you be more flexible?

Yao's 8/8 better than Diop. Is that your point?
