Whenever he gets the ball, he hesitates. He doesn't move the ball very well, and he appears to be second guessing all his shots.

V-Span seemed a long way from adapted to NBA.....

2 fouls, 3 turnovers and 1 missed trey so far in 3Q.

The Grizzlies is closing the gap......from some 20 points deficit to be just 5 points behind. 51 ~ 46.

vspan is learning that americans can actually guard the pnr in the nba. stop jumping in the air with no idea where you are going with the pass.

He will learn it is his first game...and he is making VERY good decisions with his passes, at least on most of them.

"The Rockets have no inside game at the moment". Ya think, Worrell? They're running 3 guards, a 6'6" PF, and a 6'9" stringbean who loves to camp on the perimeter at the C. That lineup probably wouldn't have a great inside game against a good HS team. Van Grumpy's just trying to check out different combinations.

Hayes with 10 boards in 25 minutes. Not bad, but if he's going to be a 20+ minute a game player for us, he has to reduce that foul rate.

He is also going in the air and losing his "receiver" to defense and has to unload a bad pass...that has been picked off twice
    STAY ON YOUR FEET

I HOPE McGrady's back feels good after EVERY preseason game and all practice sessions...and then after each regular season game, and then in each postseason game, and then in the offseason

What's this lineup Van Gundy is putting on the floor? Novak and Padgett at PF, C? We're going to get killed on the boards.

V-Span looks like has NO problem in the open court. He can see plays before they develop. However, it looks like he's really struggling in the half-court sets. This is expected thouhg and will be a learning experience for him.

i think scott padgett may have just executed the first negative vertical jump in history right there. i think he went into the floor on that jump.
