If your locked in the 3rd seed i guess these games dont matter. They probably out there just throwing ball up and not even carring what the outcome is. Kinda like taking a jog, who cares if you didnt go farther to lose those extra pounds...

This is the excuse every L.

Guess what? Its not only 1 game. We couldve easily won at least 8-9 more games this season. It DOES make a difference, and only 1 game excuse is only good if youre regularly winning. We have not regularly won since the end of December.

I think if OKC can play to their best 4-2 or 4-3 for us if we play just to our norm.

It would make the series interesting at the very least.

    me too.

didn't like the d'antoni hire when it happened and still don't like it now but we're stuck with him because he does exactly what morey wants to do.

I agree, i get he was feeling it, i'm ok with this, but that 9 footer was too much, imo. It was a very important possession, up 4 with 1:30...try to make up a good play, you can always jack up a 9 footer with 5 seconds to go if you are not able to take a better shot.

I can understand starters taking the foot of the gas a bit... but Harrell? He is supposed to be an energy player, but that energy is only expended on one end of the court...

Right? Why would practicing winning ways be important right before the playoffs? Seeding is all that matters, and we played well enough 3 months ago that we can just coast right above .500 into the postseason and expect great things because winning is irrelevant now.

why are so many people saying we aren't a championship team. were people under the impression we were? we're a nice team. certainly not a contender as is. even being a nice team, could easily lose in the first round given how weak our D is. or could give the spurs a run for their money given how strong our O is. nice season, hope we end up on the higher side of that playoff projection. or at least just make the second round.

Not in a triple double game.

    Doesn't matter

My concern...once you give in like this (not the first time for sure) ...it makes it easier to give in again. Not good for the team mojo...CONCERNING.

Just because you are locked into 3rd position doesn't mean you go out and shat the bed. Outscored 39-22 in the fourth....39 points in the 4th. That's PATHETIC !

In a non triple double game.

It's PATHETIC that we had to sit thru a 9 rebound performance.

    That's the takeaway.

If the game has no meaning...SIT the damn starters...period. If the excuse is you get to the 4th and take the foot off the gas (assuming that's the case)...just leave the starters on the bench. Give me anything but don't give me QUIT !

The problem with Trez is that he's has nothing of a center, he lack the size and the instincts to play the center, he's not going to cut it in the long run playing that spot, he can still be ok in some situations but that's it, he's just out of position there, especially against a guy like Boban he's going to get exposed.

Harden's busted wrist is real. He has stopped taking it to the rim on a consistent basis like the pre injury because of the injured wrist hence the low free throws then usual. I don't think he will get better with a few games rest I think he will have to play through it because it is not the type of injury that will heal in one or two weeks rest.
