I don't necessarily agree, Clutch. I think Wemby has sucked up so much oxygen that a lot of people are not realizing just how deep this draft class is. Wemby is a generational talent and it would be amazing to have him. But Scoot would go #1 in most draft classes, either or both of the Thompson twins would be in the running for #1 in a so-so draft class, and guys like Jarace Walker and Brandon Miller look like very safe bets to quickly become excellent, top-tier roleplayers who make big impacts on winning for their teams.

In any case, we haven't done anything to hurt our chances at getting Wemby or Scoot, and the guys behind them down to #6 or #7 or so are all really solid prospects. The draft is always a bit of a crapshoot, but I really like this class and I feel good about us coming away with a great player regardless of where the dice fall.

They have the same odds -- they don't have the same combinations. So I'm saying by ignoring the floor of "no worse than 5" and not caring if you fall to 6 or 7, you're choosing whatever happens to the third-worst team. Better hope that's the spot that has the lucky combination because it's going to look bad if a meaningless win was the difference.

He's an old rookie though, Duren is more promising imo. Dude's the youngest player in the NBA and has shades of Dwight.
