Similar record, not evenly matched, but similar overall. The Rockets need to prove to themselves and their fans that they can beat a contender. This is an important game, and I want it. I expect nothing less that a playoffs atmosphere. If the Rockets slop through this one and lose it, they are going to lose more than a game. Let's kick the tires, and light the fires.

I agree this is probably one of the 4 toughest games left on the schedule (utah twice and phoenix). We need to win both utah games and one of the two between detroit and phoenix i think this is the winable game

Home court, either no billiups or an injured Chauncy. This needs to be a statement game. (since every west team that plays detriot calls it a finals preview we can too.)

We win this and we are just 1 game back from Utah.

I wonder if Chuck, Nazr, and Tayshaun heard the news about Tubby... someone get me the number to the Toyota Center locker rooms, I need to vent with them ;) I wish there were less pyscho UK fans, they make me wanna pull my hair out.

Sorry to derail the thread a bit. Just find it sad that the day my two favorite Tubby recruits play one another is the day he resigns.

"Rockets are a very good defensive team... they play LB style of ball.
I don't see anyone coming close to slowing Meow down.... his only nemisis has been his knack for turnovers lately.
I'm not seeing a victory here unless Billups plays (he would dominate the matchup)"

----that is copied from one of the piston fan in the Piston's forum.
    yes, I totally agree

Any piston fan favoring the Rockets to win may need to check what uniform they are wearing. I don't expect any Rocket fans to favor the Pistons and vice versa

Pistons.com has just made a grevious error.

Their front page has a new poll asking who is the best 7-footer in the NBA?

Choices are: Yao, Dirk, Shaq, and Gasol.

Currently, Yao only has 8% of the vote!

Go represent Rocket fans and vote Yao.

    http://www.nba.com/pistons/index_main.html

Yao will show them tonight who the best 7 footer is!!! :)
