oh woops, tracy should have just taken the shot or passed it to a teammate to take the shot with 14 secs left on the shotclock while the pistons were making a run with 4-3 mins left in the game. running the shotclock down was exactly what the rockets needed to, with the pistons making a run late in the game. if you're going to criticize tmac, please criticize him on something he REALLY did wrong. like missing those 2 free throws and not finishing in the paint. those are unexcusable.

Damn Yao looks really strong in those photos....He's done an excellent job of adding muscle and staying in shape since his rookie year. Quite an improvement.

Guys, I thought I would be happy if we win. I am but I am also a little bit concerned. 4th quarter meltdown again. Not to pick on any player but we seriously lack a STABLE 3RD OPTION. Howard is not gonna do it, Battier is not, so is Head, Alston. I love all these guys but they are striky. Any of them could be hot in any given day, but they don't have the ability to step up constantly. Hayes is developing some nice offense but...

Per: DD: Snyder is nice but not the answer, Bonzi is still better (at least now) and still could be the answer. I know JVG probably doesn't buy it though. I like the win but coming playoff we may have big trouble if we don't have a constant scorer outside 111.

Thats what makes Yao so special, I don't think he had one dunk but he was still able to shoot 50%+. I don't think your going to see him shoot those 16 footers much except with teams that can force him that far out like Dallas and Detroit.

This team has really grown right in front of my eyes.

Key block by Yao to seal the victory.

Damn I'm kind of scared for the Hornets game and our 5 game win streak. We always suck against them. :(

Anyways Rockets balled up the Pistons where's that one Detroit fan fool now?

BTW Yao don't be so good it's not fair. If they somehow manage to push you out of the post, you just drain 15-16 footers on them. Have a conscience man. And don't block Delfino like that, he won't get enough sleep tonight.

Great game. We looked good until the almost meltdown. But once again, we made plays when we had to at the end.

    Yao is phenominal

Great first three quarters, scary fourth. But that's expected, like Worrell said, nobody expected a 20pt win against the Pistons.

Yao's last block was beautiful, and although Tracy is still struggling a little bit with his shot, he impresses me more and more every game with his passing. I mean the guy has Chuck Hayes looking like an offensive threat! Oh and Rafer was amazing today -- outside of a few defensive lapses in the middle of the fourth (which I could deal with, considering how great he was the rest of the way) and that one turnover when he tried to force the pass into Yao, he was absolutely perfect. 16 pts on 7 shots is a beautiful thing, especially coming from Rafer.

Now we just got to wait for the Clippers to smoke the Jazz tomorrow... and we are golden!

Great win. Finally beat a good team.Yao's block was huge.

But apparently JVG is not happy about Yao's play in 4 the qt. at all.He said Yao is lack of the killer instinct in post game conference.

Hopefully Yao could finish better in the playoffs.

    You guys amaze me.

This is the best team in the eastern conference and still b****ing about a win.

Its like you guys want them to lose just so you have something to talk about.

I was at the game, scary 4th, but thats to be expected from a good team.

We executed and made plays when we had to.

There are no easy wins in this league.

You can forget Bonzi, if JVG had any intention of him being in his playoff plans he would be playing him now to get him tuned up. Notice that he is not even on the bench even though he is not injured almost like JVG told him to take the rest of the season off with pay.

Be concerned. That just shows that the Rockets still lack mental toughness. The good thing is they had a big lead to hold off the Pistons. In a playoff situation against the Pistons they would lose.
