Am I the only one that finds that guy annoying? Is that really someone from NBA?

I think Lin needs a few DNP to do some soul searching. It'll do him some good, I mean Casspi finally found his shot again.

I agree. Give his minutes to Canaan and Garcia. While he and Parsons get better.

amirite? Search your feelings...you know it to be true.

Come to think of it, have you ever seen Terrence Jones and Brittney Griner in the same place at the same time?

i agree, don't if he's tired, burnt out mentally gone or what but we need him but not like he's playing. even 1 day of watching even during the miami game would do him good. he usually sucks against miami anyway so why not?

Posted this in the 'Joke' thread also - but this is a pic of Lin before the game. Maybe he needs to sit a couple out.

why the hell does lin need to be coddled? if youre stuggling, play through it. all this talk about him sitting out to "find himself" is ridiculous. what the hell is this? counseling? if hes healthy to play, then play.

For anyone that wanted Josh Smith. Check out 3:50 to 3:57. His contest of Bev's corner three.

That is why he hasn't won anything.

he's sucking the fat one right now, but it isn't any worse than what Garcia/Casspi has been at times this year.

He'll play more minutes when he starts to play better again. Simple. We NEED him to play better than this and break out of his slump. We've traded away AB, Hamilton looks solid as hell so far, needs to get it going.

I agree with you, but the problem is that the expectations for Lin far exceed any that we have for Garcia and Casspi as they both signed minimum contract deals for their services. Whatever we get out of them is just gravy. Lin needs to produce for a multitude of reasons and this extended stretch of horrendous play is just unacceptable. He can't be missing wide open shots at that clip, but even if his shots aren't falling, he needs to be doing other positive things to make up for it. People go through shooting slumps, but when the hell have you ever seen a guy go through a passing slump? The most frustrating thing about the turnovers are that many of them are of the same variety. Full court pass that is intercepted or penetrating the defense, panicking and losing the ball or throwing it right to the defender leading to a fast break opportunity for the other team. He is just hard to watch right now. It's like watching a baseball pitcher suddenly be unable to get the ball over home plate.

That being said, I'm pulling for him though. I think the Rockets need him in order to make any serious noise in the playoffs. He is supposed to be the engine that pushes the bench and there really isn't another guy on the bench that can play that role.

The thing is, Lin also went through a mini-slump where his shooting went r****ded, all but for the 4th quarters, and McHale still ran with him because he was still playing good defense, passing well to justify him being on the floor.

What he's going through now is rediculous, and given his importance to the team as the 3rd guard and necessity for him to bring it as a scorer off the bench, what he's doing now is just completely rediculous. I wanted Rondo a lot, and frankly I was surprised that so many people didn't want him in favour of Parsons.

I can live with his shot's not falling. Because the difference is, Beverley plays the same way irrespective if he's shooting 50% from the floor or 30% from the floor. With Lin it seems like playing well at the moment is contingent on shooting well, because the dude flat out looks like a ghost right now.

All the LOFs will change their tune about McHale, because he's isn't going to bench him (because he's playing THAT badly right now), he'll keep him in damage limitation at 18-20 MPG until Lin gets his crap together. But I agree, his output now just bad.

Yeah it isn't his shooting that worries me. That comes and goes even with the best that have ever done it. It is everything else going haywire simultaneously that has me concerned.
