I'm not talking about Lin either actually. I'm talking about the artist formerly known as Lin. I'm talking about this horrible basketball player masquerading around the court in a Rockets uniform wearing a Jeremy Lin mask that likes passing out assists to players on the opposing team more than his own. Actually, I think the Jeremy Lin we all know and love has been "body snatched" and the real Jeremy Lin needs you to find and rescue him before it's too late. This is clearly an imposter and he is showing all the characteristics of a pod person. Lack of emotion, disconnect, lethargy, failure to react normally in most situations, etc.

Who or whatever has the REAL Jeremy Lin, I would like for him to be safely retuned to us, no questions asked by Tuesday. Thanks

enough of the lin talk based on past history, he does well in regular season but was either injured or when semi healthy still didn't do that well in playoff games. it's best now if the team learn to go with what we have, develop canaan in case lin gets injured and the fact we don't have ab on the bench is more serious than i originally thought.

You call yourself JLFan. Guess What, Lin is a Rocket! True Rocket fans want Lin to succeed, and contribute to the team. We aren't a contender, and need to go a long way. Management knows this, and won't stop until we get better. You are a sad troller unfortunately.

Some of his fans might be unhappy whiners but Lin's character on the court is far from that.

I think this rough patch is mostly due to his current shooting.

It allows defenders an easy time to stop his drives. He does seem like someone who needs to pre-determines his plays, ie not really a natural playmaker. So they safely know he'll just back up. There's no danger of getting a shot buried in their faces or that he'll change his option.

I wouldn't be too worried about his play. He's due for another good shooting streak and with that the rest of his game opens up.

Glad rox won but by 8 pts? Wtf? I guess it's hard to stay interested against scrub teams.

Nice to see Howard master both ends of the alley oop.

This is certainly one of our biggest concerns. The only way to overcome that is to have our best defensive unit out there, when other teams make a run.
I know it's not easy with the heavy minutes, foul trouble and mismatches.

There seems to be no other way. Some of the problem is mental too. They just aren't ready to absorb the inevitable run, that other teams will make.
Hope the coaching staff will make adjustments as best as they can.

Casspi with a great game tonight.

played only 15 minutes and had 16 points.
    shooting great: 3-4 3p 4-5 fg 5-6 ft

hopefully he is back to a good shooting form.
we need everyone in a good shape when playoff starts.

Meh ... Been on record saying Beverley should start but I am not giving up on Lin as a bench scorer. The Rockets will need Lin to have any shot against the Thunder, Spurs or Clippers.

The Heat defensively can be the best in the NBA. I get your point and agree with you. It will be a good test for the Rockets.

Wasn't the most impressive game by the rockets...but we played very good in spurts. Good to see Jones and Casspi having good games after having some bad slumps lately. Jeremy probably played his worst game so far in the season. It was really like watching some scared little kid who is overthinking his OWN game instead of being in the moment and focused on helping the team and being in the flow. Really hope he gets over it, mentally, if he does he will become a better player and help him in the future, if not he will just disappear from the NBA landscape. Not much more to talk about this game, other than Rockets a few times took the foot off the pedal....need to step up for the whole 4 qtrs next game against Miami.

    Pretty good win overall.

    - Really good games for all of the starters -- no real complaints here.
    - Awesome to see Hamilton continuing to contribute... every reason to believe this was a solid pickup. Salute, Morey.
    - TERRENCE JONES. Welcome back, sir. Beyond relieved to see him bounce back -- hopefully this game was the confidence-booster he needs to get back on track down the stretch.
    - Great contribution from Casspi. Still a handful of occasions where he played outside of his game, but I can let that slide tonight.
    - Generally don't comment on Lin to avoid the swoop down, but I'll just say I hope he finds his groove soon. We really need him if we're going to make a legit playoff push, particularly without AB to fall back on. If it were anyone else, I'd say give Canaan some minutes and see if it lights a fire under him (a la Hamilton <--> Casspi or DMo <--> T. Jones), but I suspect that might have the opposite effect in this case.
    - Maybe it's because we hadn't had a home game in such a long time, but the team seemed so more fun to watch tonight. Lob City South? :p

I think it is good to have these slumps during the regular seasons and in games that the Rockets win anyway. It will only help in preparing to the playoffs. Lin (as well as Casspi) are very emotionally involved players. Their main problem is in their heads. When they feel comfortable, they perform. Casspi had a great game tonight, which hopefully boosts his confidence. It's great to have that kind of performance grin the bench in the playoffs. The forward options appear to be wide enough right now. Lin needs to get his act together before the playoffs. There's way less leeway concerning the guards.
