i think lin is probably thinking ahead to the miami game. he hasn't had a good game against them yet in his career probably has him mentally fried. i'm sure once the miami game is over he'll play better.

Nobody is happy about the performance in both halves (mainly the second), but a win is still a win. It's the regular season and they have to prepare for Mimi next game so it's okay if a young team gets bored and lets a bad team bring a 25 point lead down to 7 with a few minute left in the game.

I think you are a bitter NY fan who's also a Lin fan that wants to see the Rockets fail.

Said nothing about Lin, I would say the same thing if you had like Collison or Norris Cole as your backup. I'm just saying the D sucks on the Rockets.
If you want to win as a champion, you need to suck it up and realize your teams flaws but Rocket fans are delirious. Watch Tuesday, I'm sure you'll all realize just how far you are at a ring.

    Should have traded Lin

He is Not happy with his role. Too nice a guy to say so.

Sucks to loose job to anyone.

He did and now that he knows this is his lot with this team and with low usage, it is not going to be pretty.

He will try but he will make 25 million in 3 years. More than most will make in lifetime.

His goal is to serve so he might just retire and be a pastor. If that's his calling.

But if he wants to play he needs to be traded in off season.

He is not good sidekick type. He must have ball to be effective. This team Harden gets it first, then DH, then Parsons. You get the point.

Eh, glad we got the win, not great to see the Rockets just check out in the second half, but we made just enough plays when we needed it. Beverley was huge in the 4th.

Hopefully Parsons is healthy for the next game, that one is HUGE!

Take any W in this stretch of tough games. Next few games will be key for the Rockets to stay in contention for the top 3 spots in the West. Hope Parsons will be ready for Tuesdays game against the Heat.

No, I don't want the Rockets to fail. On the contrary, I would like the Rockets to shine so the media will actually talk about the Rockets for once and not just go into the whole Dwightmare and LA Lakers conversation when you hear anything on tv. It always seems the Texas teams are pretty much just ignored in general, like no one cares that the Spurs are an amazing team it's just Lebron and the 3 peat.

He is not even playing upto the role he already has. If you think this even remotely has anything to do with "his role being taken" you are SERIOUSLY under the wrong impression. If he can't show to be serviceable in limited minutes, play conservative and bring the ball up without turning it over, he is basically competing at a dleague level.

If Lin is supposedly "crying" about his role, trade him. You didn't see Harden crying when he was coming off the bench in OKC. Hell Mchale was coming off the bench, and he never once complained. Heck he even played on a broken foot messing up his walking.

Anytime we win without Parsons, that's a relief. Hope he gets well soon.

Game ball: Casspi! Really picked his game up. Yet another way Ham has helped this team!

    That's the problem.

On what team will Lin get that opportunity? Even if there is, there's no chance that team is even a playoff team.

Lin needs to learn how to adjust his game around Harden and Howard, not the other way around.

This is the golden era of PGs, and there are tons of PGs out there who are better than Lin. Lin won't ever be a starter on a good team if he doesn't learn to adjust.

Watching the post game interview with TJ I thought to myself, "This guy is gonna be a beast once he hits puberty."

with the pistons and how we blew them out in the 1st quarter, the team just coasted throughout the game while looking ahead to the heat game. It's natural, don't see it a big deal. Let's not forget, the Rockets are were up 17+ in the 4th before Linsanity began and gave up those turnovers and allow the Pistons to come back a little.

    It wasn't the starters fault.

Pretty much what i was thinking. LOH never puts the troll on ignore and quotes him every time he says something so people who have him on ignore reads his comments.

    Whatever.

It's hard to blow out a team for a whole game. It was ugly but they got it done. As for the usual finger pointing and deflecting...

Saturday night, brehs. Tell me we are more interesting than this. Especially after a win.

lol let's just stop the Lin for a second, you guy's do realize your in for the biggest raping of your lives coming Tuesday right?
If you guys haven't been watching but the way Miami has been playing, Batman and Robin, they've basically gone into playoffs mode blowing OKC at home for the first time easily.
I would take tuesday game very very serious if I was the Rockets because if the raping OKC did to the Rockets Miami can do to OKC and basically LBJ will shut Harden down then I'm not sure what options the Rockets have. The ONLY way I see the Rockets winning tuesday game is if Howard goes into pure SHAQ mode and destroys the Miami interior D but sadly as much as the coaches don't know how to use Lin, they just as much don't know how to use Howard.
