maybe he's talking about a timetable to develope the team, to get to the final, or something like that that is too long for Brown??

I think hamilton is awesome without the ball, and his midrange game is just sick
Mobley is better with the ball.

Billups and francis are about the same, with francis more talented and more potential.

so it is really depend on the team structure. Do francis or mobley fit their team better or billups and hamilton fit their team better?

anyway.. predicting a houston win.. yao throws it down on big ben.

It feels like the Pistons will consentrate alot on defending Yao and forget all about Steve. Then Steve will torch them and carry the Rockets to a win.

    Rox 92
    Pistons 81

    Steve 31pts 5ast 6rbs
    Yao 15pts 14rbs 4blks

    GO Steve and Go Rockets

If the Pistons move the ball around and get open shots we will be in big trouble. Hamilton,Okur and Prince are good shooters. We have to defend the pick and roll, rebound better than in the last game, make the extra pass and execute in order to win.
The Billups/Francis matchup will be key to the outcome IMO.
It's going to be harder to win against them as compared to the Hornets.
    Pistons 84
    Rockets 77
I hope my prediction will be wrong.

Detroit beat Houston 98-74 in Houston last year, no way they crush us twice in a row. I expect a low scoring game.

    Rockets 21

that was by far my favorite moment from last year. i remember reading the papers that ben refused to comment after the game. hhehehehe.

ben has the coolest intro when his name is called out at the palace.

Detroit's guards are going to cut up the Rox defense with superb midrange shooting. Yao will prove ineffectual against Wallace/Campbell, but Cato has a big game. Billups is going to outplay Francis in every category. Rox lose by at least 10.

    Wha!?!?!?!?

Pistons look to extend winning ways in Texas

Richard Hamilton, left, Chauncey Billups and Detroit hope to add to the win column. (AP) The Detroit Pistons look to match their season-high five-game winning streak as they visit the Houston Rockets at Compaq Center. Detroit is off to a strong start as its 14 wins are second only to Eastern Conference-leading Indiana. The Pistons have won seven of 11 on the road, and are a win shy of matching their first five-game run.

Why are we playing at the Compaq Center, methinks Yahoo! messed up, how funny.

This is how we wish the Rox could always play...Steve distributing the ball to guys in position to score, Yao clearing defensive rebounds with authority...let's hope this continues.

I can't believe that I've just seen TWO pick-n-rolls in this first quarter where Yao got the ball--and guess what, both times we scored.
