Whoops posted this in the wrong thread at first:

I guess the waye I'm starting to look at it now is that if we can win now with Steve's offensive game in shambles, imagine what we can do once he gets things back together.

But sweet crap, we're 8-1 against the East now. That conference is horribly, ineffably craptactular. It used to be funny... but it's not anymore. It's reached plain ol' UNFAIR - for both sides.

I really had a good time with this win until I read this post, to say that Yao's fans want to see Rockets lose games is really clueless. All fans want to see their team goes into post season no matter who they rooting for, get it?

Wow, impressive game and awesome win. I gotta start predicting the rockets losing some more. :D

Props to Yao, this is the type of dominating performance many have been waiting to see. I don't expect him to stay at this level, but hopefully we'll see a marked improvement in his ability to take over games. Suddently our pf position looks ok, Cato's doing well, MoT has rounded out into shape and is doing awesome (although he could grab a few more rebounds...). Still, I'm worried when we play pfs like KG and Pau Gasol.

    Great win!!!

Twas a great win, we sort of fell apart at the end as usual but we had a good enough lead to pull through. Great game by Yao. Steve did well. Hoorah for our side!

Monster game by Ming, I love those numbers. Congrads to Francis on his 11 assists. The Rockets have lost only one game at the Toyota Center (Memphis) and continue to beat up on the East. I still see many "fundamental" problems, but I don't want to talk about them tonight. Rockets win!:)

Great rebounding and solid scoring from Yao. I didn't expect him to that well. Francis really passed so much better but Cat didn't shoot as well as he should have and as soon as the Pistons put pressure on us we started to panic. A much better team game but the mental mistakes when things get difficult is not a good sign. I hope the players will continue to do a good job and learn from their faults.

great game....shouldve been sealed off sooner but great effort all around. Good game no matter who on the team youre a fan of. Unlike some people I am a ROCKETS fan and dont single out players to root for. Now lets get ready for our next game!

Texas Stoke, I am really surprised that Denver does very well this season. They even has opportunity to be in playoffs, amazing.

Texas Stoke, we were able to avoid your noxious posts when you kept to the debate forum defending Bush and all things right wing but your bringing your pettiness and xenophobia to the main board is not going to make you any new friends. It is obvious you are the type of personality who needs to create conflict and enemies where none exist.

Interesting thing is I have not heard JVG praise Yao so far. Evan tonight, JVG only praised Steve. That's really good sign actually. It means JVG thinks YAO is far from achieving his potention. What Do your guys think?

My second reply on this forum. really upset when seeing this, a post of a senior member, obviously an american (am a chinese, yet no prejudice to any one with any nationality or of any race).

Me as an example, I began to support rocket as soon as it got yao. Nobody in china is happy with yao's monster performance if rox loses. some might take it a pity if yao could not add more scores to a rox win. that's understandable, right, buddies?

we CHINESE always value a teamplayer and a teamwin, not like that Texas Stoke's illustration.

hope this helps that one understand people in other country or of other race a little bit better.

pride for ur team, no prejudice on ur fellas.

blah can we just like the ROCKETS ..meaning the whole team..i'm asian and i root for the whole rockets team..because steve can't win by himself and so does Yao...we need all players steve, mobley, yao, kelvin, jackson, MoTay...so cut the Yao-only-fans vs. Steve-only-fans crap
