If this is the case, Rox will stop in the first round of playoffs. Did Rafer start when Rox lost 6 in a row? Steve only started 2 and the two losts were mainly due to a superstar, who for whatever reason messed up the game and quit. I guess the result is what the superstar wanted, to keep Rafer as the starting PG.

You can build off of any win easier than you can off a loss....

building off this win is like building off a loss....b/c they stole this one

I think the Pistons looked at this game as a trap game and played like it. The only emotion I feel after a game like today is relief. The Rockets are just so frustrating to watch. I don't think anyone will dispute that we were bad tonight; it is just that the Pistons were a tiny bit worse.

I got it! I got it! (raising hand emphatically)

Answer: By missing 6 more free throws in the 2nd game.

    What do I win?

Seriously, though, it is probably a lack of good work ethic in practice. Bonzi doesn't strike me as a strong believer in the meaning of practice. Too bad not everybody understands the meaning of practice like Steve Nash.

Looking at some of these pictures, I can't fathom how people can call Yao soft.

It is a great game to build on despite all the negativity depsite losing the last 2 games on the road.We have gave away alot of games this season due to new coach, new system, new players etc.We just have to bring it on the defensive end no matter what because if we struggle offensively we still have our defense to help us win games.Good win

It was a grind it out game. In the long run, this won't work at all. For much of the game, it was basically a two-man offense with the superstars playing with Battier, Alston, and Hayes, all of whom can't create their own shot and were standing around most of the game on offense.

Nash, Nowitzky, and Yao are where they are because of an incredible dedication to the game. What they lack in athletic ability, they've made up for by having an incredible work ethic. You have to admire them for that. It is sad when amazingly gifted athletes don't take advantage and just coast for their NBA careers.

Nash and Nowitzky, of course, account for the last three years' MVP honors.
