Yes. He said something like the Rockets finally discover where to get Yao the ball (when he was in the paint five feet in front of the rim). He also said that Wallace and McDyess can't guard Yao and was mystified why the Rockets didn't exploit it ... especially when the Rockets were chucking long shots. He called out TMac and Idleman as well as Head.

Yeah, they make mistakes like everyone else. I'm talking about the OBVIOUS calls that CLEARLY should have gone the other way. Refs rarely, if ever, change their calls even after the realize their mistake.

    I will take the win
    I'm still skeptical

SF and MJ not playing makes me wonder about somethings

SF maybe hurting . . but MJ was a part of he group that helped
us look respectable in the last game . . so I dunno what that was about

Good thing out next game isn't tomorrow

I still say .. ..second round or bust

Detroit didn't let the rockets do anything if that is the case we let toronto beat us when we had a 14 point lead or we let philly beat us.You either bring it or you don't it aint no excuses.

Why wasn't Yao told to miss his last free throw with 0.8 seconds left? Game would have been over....instead Detroit had one last shot.

    Guess he was too embarrassed.

Nothing special, except in comparison to the two horrible games prior to this one. If we shoot our average from the line we would have won by double digits. Our effort and defense were significantly better than they last two games, so it saved us from one of the worst free throw shooting performances ever.

They need to make more of an effort to set up Scola for shots when he is in there. If he is just going to rebound and play defense then Chuck does that better at this point.

Head shot decent at 50%, but is still too turn over prone to really do anything but shoot set shots or cut off post ups.

Rafer had a good game. 50% shooting, 6 assists, 1 turn over, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. Either James or Francis is going to have to contribute for us at some point, but they really needed a win at any cost, so Adelman went with the players he trusts most and if Rafer is playing like that there isn't a whole lot of reason to take him out. Of course expecting him to shoot like that every night is unrealistic.

Ugly game, but we beat a good team. There was better effort this time around. Even in ugly games if you give 100% you give yourself a chance to pull out a win like tonight. With such a roller coaster season, after every win I hope it's a sign this team has turned the corner and become what we all think they're capable of. Here's wishing it's true this time.

Even Fisher can make a 0.1s shot. It's good for Yao to have knocked down that safety freethrow.

Didn't Yao commit a careless turnover in the last minute that resulted in a transition three?

McGrady needs to attack the basket at the end of close games. I don't know what the coaches or his teammates need to do to make him understand this.

Are Rockets fans the most negative race on earth? A very hard-fought win against a very good team, especially after 2 terrible games, when everyone was talking about blowing up the team. Can't we just appreciate the win? Sure, they didn't play a perfect game, they missed so many freethrows that's unheard of, and they wasn't calm enough at the end of the game. But it wasn't an easy win, why should some of you guys be that negative? No social life, just have to come on a basketball to piss off everyone else?

I think at least 0.4 has to be on the clock for a catch and shoot.

Detroit still had a time out. They would still have advance the ball if they got the rebound. The Rockets forced Detroit to shoot a 3.

Rafer has just secured his starting job for the rest of the season (not that it was ever in jeopardy)
