Knicks, Jazz, Kings, and now Piston all use their big man shooting jump shots from outside to lure Yao out of the post. However, there isn't any changes made by JVG. McDyess is killing us.

    Also, Rox PnR defense sucks.

I agree that this team is painful to watch. There's just no excitement or energy from anyone. There was a survey on espn, "Which player has brought the most impact to their new team?" Nash of course was the winner, but McGrady was last with 3%. Alot of people forget that TMac is even on the Rockets.
One thing I like liked is how Sura gets out and runs. I think he'll be good for players like Nachbar (who likes to run the floor.) JVG just has to go man. I don't know what else to say.

The league is changing. The big man needs to have a decent jumpshot now. This is why whatever drills JVG is doing with the team is severely killing off the jumpshot of most of the team. Only JJ seems to have a decent jumper now. Yao has almost no jumpshot.

why does van gundy even put in boki. He puts in for 3 minutes then takes him right back out. You might as well not even play him. Am i the only one that doesn't understand van gundy's rotation substitution?

He's doing pretty good. Can't say the same for the rest of the team. :(

I was paying good attention to Yao's rebonding effort. Often, He is the only Rox crush the board on the offensive end. On the defensesive end, there are a lot of long rebonds. Plus, Piston is shoting with high persentage.

I can't watch this game. There is no reason to watch the Rockets as long as Van Grumpy is coach.

i agree hoang17, players need significant time on the floor....they can't just produce in three minutes

Can't watch the game, but so far, from the box score I know that McDyess is killing us, and Yao is not rebounding, and we are having lots of turnovers. How come I got the feeling that it's worse than last year?:) My explanation might be that the players are disinterested, and trying to drive JVG out of town. Could anyone watching the game enlighten me, what kind of adjustment you guys see that JVG directed to stop McDyess?

TMac has got history with the Pistons, and it looks like he is very frustrated out there on the court since the Rockets are losing against Pistons. The guy no longer looks like a scoring leader.
