You can say that again about Steve Francis. He's turning that team around and they look like one of the top teams in the east.

There are no more steps foward at this point. Only steps backward. Something has to be done and the coach is the easiest target. Yes, it is possible that the same malaise and simple lack of fundamentals could continue under anyone else. That was much of the same that was said about the Astros. You don't know until you try.

JVG is a very good basketball coach. He is simply not the coach for this team. I don't know who is. I just know it isn't JVG.

Mo Taylor played 30 minutes and grabbed 0, thats right, 0 rebs.

    How is that possible?

I'm not much on conspiracy theories, but I'm starting to wonder if maybe these guys actually have started a behind-the-scenes mutiny. They'd never do it in public, of course, but there are an awful lot of players out there not playing up to their potential -- AT THE SAME TIME. No hustle, no effort. It honestly looks like they're tanking it on purpose.

The rebounding is due to JVG system. His system demands big guys coming out to guard or for the PF being outside to take 3 points. That is why he asked MT to improve his 3 point shot.

I agree. Since the players have obviously quit on JVG, I might as well quit watching until he is fired.

JVG truly does not know how to utilize the strengths of his star players. TMac of all players should have been hyped up for this game since he has a little history with the Magic. Did TMac play in the 4th quarter? JVG has drilled this team into the ground. TMac has signed a long-term extension. He needs to b**** and b**** loud. He's stuck with JVG. Yao hasn't signed anything. He's going to stay quiet, and sign with the Lakers and be reunited with Rudy T unless JVG is canned.

Rockets need to hire a coach who can at least implement a zone defense. Keep Yao close to the paint on defense.

Wow... total lack of every intangible in the game of basketball. The crowd was so polite. They should have been booing mercilessly.

    No offensive rebounds.
No energy, and fighting for loose balls.
    No driving to the basket.
    No fast break offense.
    No early offense.
    No blocks.
    No steals.
    No concentration or ball handling.
    No chemistry.

I can't say that I've ever been so disappointed in the team. The biggest problem with this list, is that I don't hear anyone talking about any of them except for lack of rebounding. Everything else I hear is some BS about not rotating on defense when the opposition only scored 44 in the half. There are so many things wrong. The list could go on forever.

Yao can't hit a jump shot.
Yao's passing and assist numbers are non-existant (what happened to next Bill Walton?)
    Tmac is insanely tentative.
Mo Taylor can't hit a jump shot.
No one can get their own shot.

But I guess if we just rotate on defense, everything will be OK.
