Green is a great player and will be a SUPERSTAR. Porter needs to be a SF, If you let Josh Christopher be the PG for now you will see the turnovers go down quickly.

I agree with the growing sentiment that KPJ probably isn’t best suited to play point with Green, but he’s a good young player who can play multiple positions reasonably well. We definitely don’t need to “get rid of him.”

Green is extremely talented but he’s not as polished at this point as I had hoped. That’s okay because he is 19 years old. He struggles in the half court and gets stuck in-between at times going to the basket. Over time he should develop some go-to moves in that position that should help his shot percentage around the rim go way up. His jumper is a little odd, but it probably just needs some fine tuning and repetition.

I wanted Mobley but I understood the decision in taking Green. I’m willing to be patient with him, bc you can see the raw ability and potential. It’s up to him and the Rockets organization to maximize it.

Definitely something they should be looking at. In fact I find it bizarre that more teams don’t hire larger coaching staffs. I’m not sure if the NBA has a specific rule against that, but in the MLB I think the Giants had an abnormally larger coaching staff this year (>the rest of baseball) and it clearly paid dividends as they remarkably overachieved. It’s not always a case where more coaches is better, but it does make sense to hire multiple specialists to help players improve in different areas.

Hearing Eric Gordon's post game interview.....He knows exactly what wrong with this team. He will make a good head coach if he ever wanted it.

I can see that but I don't see him making winning plays. One play that stuck out was a loose ball was rolling his way on the 4th and he stood there waiting to get there and Cunningham ran to the ball picked it up and made a 3. That coupled with his frustration on offense involvement is what makes me question his desire. I get it, if he played with a point guard then he would be a all star for sure

KPJ should be playing the 3--not the 1.

No one complained at all about Wood when he was playing with Harden.

There were posters going off the rails claiming he was next AD.

And he put up those averages even without being the focal point of offense.

No one is saying Wood is a championship cornerstone. But I'll be dammed if we have to give up every good piece because dumbass posters hate a players body language and/or our pissant coaches do not know or care to maximize the players who have proven to produce.

During Silas ONLY winning streak last season, Wood was playing lights out. He was critical piece on offense AND defense. Then he got injured and Rockets had their worst season in franchise history.

Again, what has changed from end of last season to now?

Can he coach now? Make Silas an assistant coach where he belongs.
