They know Cade is their future and treat him accordingly. He gets valuable reps and the opportunity to do stuff. Green barely sees the ball in that lineup we played to close it out.

KPJ,Wood,Ego love to be the hero.
Pistons otoh cleared the lane and gave the ball to Cade.

This is a really bad, poorly coached and undisciplined team. Lousy free throw shooting, low effort on defense, immature, there’s very little to like right now. This was a bad loss.

 

Its braindead coaching. A coach that willingly plays House over KJ is a sub NBA level coach so I dont expect them to call a good game

 

Green is coming along, Mobley is coming along, but Cade is the better NBA player at this moment.....his intelligence will outlast them all.

KPJ had a promising game though, 18 points on 11 shots with 5 assists, 5 rebounds, a steal, and a block.

He still needs to work on turnovers, but some of them he got credited with weren't his fault and he DEFINITELY needs to work on FT's

Either way, it's one of the few positives from this game.

 

I feel sorry for whatever kid gets chosen for this team with this coach. Sorry Jalen. Sorry future 2022 #1 pick lol

 

He was in the 4th which is what people have been complaining about.

Os, I concede defeat.

Two things I was not counting on:
1) Sengun not playing (does anyone know why he did not play?)

2) House coming back from inactive list.

This is a game Sengun should have played (several days rest prior) and House was a minus 13 that took
away minutes from Kenyon who was a minus 1; but our highest plus player on the
season.

I bow out of the prediction business as I see the Rockets are trying to be the
worst record and trade House; which is laughable.

 

There’s tanking- which I understand. But then there’s being an absolute embarrassment of a team.

Silas gotta go man. A minute and a half left in the game, rockets down 6… Wood shoots a deep 2. These are things that are talked about and practiced. Literally no competent coach is okay with that shot. I’m telling y’all Silas just claps and let’s the guys do whatever.

 

For real. Green and Cade have different roles for their teams. They both played well. Green showed his 3 level scoring and ability to stay with PGs. He’s getting better at finishing through contact and is learning to properly attack close outs.

case is their engine. He makes the right read damn near every time. They both played well.

 

Rockets have a bunch of guys looking to get theirs. That's it. Gordon wants to get his so he can get traded. Wood cares about proving that he's "all star" by scoring. I feel sad for Green/Sengun coming into this situation as rookies. There is no structure and it starts from the coach.
