Ok. I would still like to ask you to sit back and watch the next game and let us know what Sampson has done to Lin. Please?

Just tell me how long did Westbrook played against the Pistons 2 days ago.

    31 mins?

    41 mins?

Is Westbrook still a superstar in the Thunder?
Is their coach dislike him or disrespect him?

Dude no offense but I think there is a language barrier here. You keep bringing up numbers but I'm going by my qualitative observation of the game. That is why I asked u if you actually watched the game.

Okay we agree to disagree. Like that cheyng guy said, lets see how Lin is played by the coaches in Miami. You can bash on me all u want if I'm wrong.

If nums means nothin' then you should just shut up cuz 25 mins was just enough for anybody who don't care about how long they played.

I'm sure they all went out to eat after the game. Hmmmm, maybe he missed his mom's home cooked meals. Hope they're there for the Miami game. :)

no way Sampsons will pull that **** again right away. he's already been questioned about it and gave a pathetic excuse. even if he believes in Douglasanity, he's not gonna want to be in the hot seat.

Yep, ITA, he got caught with the stupid pause look on his face, and plus he sounded like somebody that caught doing something wrong when he tried to explain that TD didn't play at all in the Memphis game.

31 minutes is not a questionable number for a starting pg. 25 minutes is very suspect.

25 minutes is about 50% of the game. Starters and especially starting PGs don't play 25 minutes. It was a bold statement Sampson made tonight. The backlash might make him play Lin more but it seems he doesn't believe in Lin as being a quality pg.

I agree with this. He would be a jerk to say, "It was garbage time so we don't mind playing Toney friggin' Douglas."

D'Antoni was really rude to TD, and I think it hurt his confidence. TD has the tools to play better; mentally though, he's not there.

i've yet to complain about mchale's coaching since he's come to the rockets. however, this quote by sampson is just pathetically unacceptable.

besides being utterly untrue (lin can't match bynum's speed? he's basically as fast as john wall  and he definitely runs the fast break a lot ****ing better than TD  )

....he basically just threw the team's starting point guard under a bus.

    SMH.

    This was a BLOW-OUT win brah.....garbage time: 5min and 19sec

    Lin played 25min and 48sec

IF this was a tie game. Lin would have played 31+ mins. That's normal for a PG in the 2nd night @ b2b.

Well, this is probably true. There are few PGs in the league that Toney could match up with, if any.

I'm not sure if the organization ever thought of Lin as a star player on the court, to be honest. He certainly hasn't been playing like one consistently. With that being said, he's still the better PG and should average about 38 minutes with this roster. He should also be in games during crucial minutes and crunch time. Unless of course you know, we are blowing the other team out, like this game.

It's his first game so I don't think Sampson considered all that additional factors when subbing out his players, probably went with his gut feel on who he was more comfortable with at that point in time. LOVE the fact he played T Jones early in the game.

He did say Douglas played well, which I hope it was just to boost his confidence and not what he was really seeing out there. Kinda low expectations for your backup PG if you call that playing well, against the Pistons no less.

This was a blow-out win against the worst team(just like a D-league team) in the NBA...can we wait for the next game and discuss this topic later?
