    Absolutely... only question is.. who beats the other to the punch... the CF peanut gallery or BSPN??? I'm gonna go on a limb and say that Ramona Shelborne or some other LA ESPN writer already has a Howard story queued up and ready to go the moment he steps on the floor tonight.

    I think we all know the answer to that. The fact that, last year, whenever Lin missed a shot or had a turnover we'd get pages of essays about why he sucks should tell you all you need to know.

    the moment we lose one and there is even the inkling of a frown on howards face everyone will be going nuts here.

    I am already seeing manifestation of the 'asik not happy' drama and its extremely negative.

    Frankly I dont see espn being as quick on trigger as I do this board.

    Of course.... just making a joke about how ready the talking heads are to dramatize Howards existence in Houston. Hopefully the majority of Rox fans here can sift through the noise that WILL happen this year the first time Howard has the hint of a frown on his face.

    The noise will be a loud minority but loud.. It sucks that this board is so negative but Im telling you its going to be real damn bad at times. I just hope it doesnt snowball at any point into something even more negative that it puts us back somehow. Its really about a little luck too.. and I hope we can be cool on injuries and kind of catch some early breaks. Asik situation is going to be our x factor. Also parsons play is going to be huge too.

    Agreed. Honestly, I stopped participating/reading in game threads and visited the board less often during the offseason because all it was, and still is sometimes, is a bunch of senseless arguments and dumping on everyone. I enjoyed the online game-day experience much more in some other places.

    I'm obviously curious to see how Howard will do, but i'm looking forward to seeing how the other additions and Jones and Brooks will do. DMO as well.

    Yes but I expect to see them together on the floor some with Asik out and Camby likely sitting for most of the preseason due to being old.
