I wouldn't go that far, a quick search yields that Terrence grabbed 1 board or less only twice in his 33 games last year, and once in 17 playoff games.

I like what I see from Harrell but he's got quite a ways to go.

If Josh Smith could shoot free throws at around a 70% rate then I think for sure you sign him.

I wasn't watching Harrell specifically, but maybe there is a good reason why he only grabbed one board.

He got a few easy lay-ups/dunks by sprinting down the floor immediately after the shot went up. Maybe he was told not to crash the boards and to get out in transition instead in this game.

I'd have to watch the game again with an eye on him specifically to see if he was just wasn't getting in position or if he wasn't crashing on purpose.

He wasn't told not to crash the boards. He does look for the offensive put backs. Defensively he was asked to stick with Ryan Anderson, a task he struggled with. But nevertheless chasing Anderson out high at the 3-point line did hinder his ability to be at the rim in rebounding position. Combine this factor along with the fact that he's not as aggressive on the glass when he is inside as he needs to be and you get 1 board.

He will have to become a more aggressive rebounder. But when he has to chase a spread 4 around the arc it does leave him far out of position most of the time on the defensive glass.

Don't mean to rag on Harrell, I think he's doing okay. People here are jumping the gun on him though.

I do think he will be a major contributor for us in a year's time, especially if Jones and/or DMo leave.

We have just one game remaining, Harden and Tlaw need to get some burn otherwise they're gonna get gassed when the season starts. Its also important to get some chemistry going on out there. 30 mins a game is ok burn for your players, in fact its on the low side what you dont want to see is 40+ mins in a preseason game.

He'll get a lot of minutes if he can contribute defensively. That's where T-Jones kills us with his inconsitency.

Ariza has always done well with fresh legs espcially in the start of the season and when asked to do less. He should be very good with less minutes and addition of play makers and quality bench.

agreed. McHale played him some at PF last night and the intention is to use him some at that position this season. wherever they play him hopefully his avg mins will be in the low to mid 30's.

Maybe he's a little distracted lately.

His "targeting" seemed a smidge off. Once he sat down, the others finally stepped up, especially Marcus Thornton.

Really liked the ending team of Capela, Thornton, K.J., Harrell and Jet.

Athleticism, rebounding and shooting. Really nice combination.

I apologize in advance to anyone who gets hurt from this continuously asked question, but with nearly a week till the NBA season starts and Ty Lawson still hasn't gotten a suspension, should we be expecting one anytime soon?

lol no it wasn't. The Rockets started that 4th with Ariza and Terry on the floor. An NBA starter and semi starter. Pelicans brought in Anderson later, but other than that, deep bench players and a few who won't even be on the Pelicans roster in a few days.

Harden, Lawson and Ariza all played 30 or more minutes. Only Anderson and Dante Cunningham came close to that for the Pelicans.

That game looked better from the Pelicans perspective. Really.
