Just wondering if everyone calling V-Span a wuss feels the same way about Steve Francis for whining his way out of Vancouver, because it was too far from his grandma.

Or maybe John Elway for whining his way off of the Colts. or.....well, you get the idea.

I mean, all V-Span did was try to play in Houston, get homesick and get a much bigger contract in a stronger currency....

And the Rockets got Scola, he was a good acquisition at the end of the day.

No matter what the circumstances are/were, I do remember Steve playing in Vancouver, even when he got food and batteries thrown at him. He might be a whiner, but a p*ssy he is not.

I agree but it wouldn't have been nearly as bad if V-Span didn't suck everytime he stepped on the court. He couldn't shoot worth a darn and had turnover issues. Not getting PT is frustrating, but you can't really complain about it if you don't play well when you get some.

They didn't play for Houston, so no, they're not wusses in our eyes

They're calling him a wuss because he's been saying how we "ruined" him by not giving him any PT. Evidently JVG didn't think he was good enough to earn any. So wouldn't you think that he would want to play against us and prove everyone wrong about him?

I liked V-Span, I wanted him to do well here. It sucks that it didn't work out but if you're going to complain about how you deserved some PT then your ass better prove it ON THE COURT. And what better way to prove it then playing against that very team who didn't play you? If I was him, injury or no injury, I would play tomorrow and try to dominate the game.

so you would jeopardize your entire career AND disrespect your teammates by playing and risk getting injured even more?

You are pretty selfish I guess.

Yeah...like his entire career is going to be flushed down the toilet just because he was playing on a "minor" calf injury. Exactly how is playing against the Rockets going to disrespect anyone? Hell, by that logic you can say he's the one disrespecting us.

I personally believe he should've stayed in the NBA. He shouldn't let one bad experience get the best of him.

I think he has a real injury and is not faking it. I thought it was a torn muscle in his foot, not his calf, but either way, it is no reason to continually hammer the guy.

Let him go, he got his way, we got better.

Which is all good for everyone....

Oh, and even better, we pimped the Spurs to do it !!

    WOOT !

Don't be surprise if VSpan does show up but you may not notice him disguised in the teams mascot uniform. :D

Difference is neither Elway or Francis signed/played for the teams that drafted them, and nobody is saying what the they did was right. Now if you really think that Vspan really left the NBA because he got home sick, I think you are in a bit of denial. TO ME, it seem the guy quit because he couldnt handle the pressure and life of the NBA.
