I have not seen any of the games. Does Francis look like a different player then when he was w/ us a few years ago? If so, how?

He is playing tentative so far, trying to do to little. He looks like he is trying to blend in too much if you know what I mean....

he's still undecisive and looks lost half the time. only things hes done is come off a pick from yao and hit two 3's.

Me too. If he keeps up this focused play the whole season, we will be in good shape. He had a couple of very good drive and dishes.

    Three other thoughts:

1 This team is so loaded it ain't funny. Some of the veterans aren't going to be happy about their playing time this season. Get ready for it.

2 I wasn't that impressed with the first half. Part of the reason we have 59 points is because of who we are playing. The players stood around too much on offense during many possessions. This Greek team just doesn't have the ability to stop the Rockets no matter what.

3 Who plays and doesn't play in the 2nd half should give some indication of which players are goners. IMO, Novak and Harris are battling for the last roster spot. Landry may also be on the bubble.

Scola is also acclimating pretty quickly. Alston is my surprise candidate so far.

Skip is awesome when he doesn't have to score.

I don't care how Mike James plays, we are keeping Skip because he's the best PG we got. Skip will flourish under Adelman so if you are a Skip hater, you better think twice now...
