I don't care if we make playoff or not. Just try to win as many games as we can since it is already too late to tank. They have no other way except going forward. Win
I hope we have someone ready to guard Peja if Tmac isn't there. He's the one guy that scares me now on Jermaine O'neal(less) Pacers.
I don't know what's happened to my Pacers! The Rockets should win this game but you never know which Pacers team will show up. Yao has consecutive 30 point games and todays game is the 2nd of a back to back. Very curious to see if he can pull off another 25/10 type of performance again. We also need another 11/8 kind of game from Stro and the backcourt has to shoot decently.
From the Rocky movie:"WIN". This team can be one of the special teams to play for the city of Houston. GO ROCKETS!!!
The Pacers are going to be smarting from yday's loss to the league's garbage bins (Knicks). Their front line is big and physical and will beat up on Yao. Hopefully Yao's got enough left in the tank to have a big game today seeing as how tis a back to back situation. We need Tracy back (and hopefully our role players with their shots). If one of the Pacers scrubs goes off, Im going to jump off the nearest bridge. Rockets win 91-80.
We are better than them, with our without Tmac. Rocks 97 Pacers 88 With no Tmac With Tmac Rocks 108 Pacers 85 DD
if t-mac is there and is playing at least at 90% we should win this comfortably. if he isnt there it really depends on our shooters yao will be in the 20s and 10s again. peja will have about 27 all on 3s. rockets 91 pacers 85
It's time to payback Jeff Foster for his baptism of Yao 4 years ago. Pollard and Harrison should be fodder as usual. SJax should easily dominate Wesley with his size and speed. It might get ugly if Bogans can't contain Peja.
I am worried about JVG's usual "drop back into the paint and challenge their shooters to beat you from the outside" philosophy for this game. Peja is not someone you want to get hot on you, you must keep a body on him at all times. At the same time, SJax can catch fire and it will be hard to stop him. I hope T-Mac is back and we can play him and Bogans to defend these two guys.
I always wondered about the logic of that strategy especially against a solid shooting team. Why would a good shooting team want to do battle in the centre with Yao in the paint? True defense does win games- but I think if you shoot a high percentage and take 10-15 more shots, that logic may not always be as sound.
Another MUST win!!! It's going to be tough to win though, afterall they are playing at home. It's going to be another ugly game but it will be beautiful if its a W! Without T-Mac, Rox squeak it out 79-72. With T-Mac it may be higher scoring.
