We need a big game from Lin. He can play with the starters and the bench.
Jones pulled himself out of a big funk, Lin can do it too.
We can't rely on Beverely to get the job done.

    Go Rockets!

Rocket will win this game. Last meeting was a fluke. Toyota center will be rocking like the Miami game. 80 point first half.

I hope we keep the magic alive, I haven't been this confident as a Rockets fan in a very long time!

Just like the Clips, we don't match up well with the Pacers.

If we limit our turnovers, we have more than enough talent to beat the Pacers.

McHale will have to coach this one, too. He can't ride the bench if it isn't producing. If Jeremy is stinking it up, it makes no sense to allow him to be eaten alive on both ends of the floor.

I expect Omer to come up big for us tonight, too. Clogging the paint and giving Roy Hibbert a size challenge will be great for us.

Cisco is about the be unleashed as well...just wait. :)

I think Dwight will carry us in this one, with a good game from James and some crunch time shooting from Pat and CP25.

    Rockets 110
    Pacers 104

I will be watching this game from Austin at Lavaca Street Bar with other fans. If you're in town come on out and support the Rockets!

I know it was just the Preseason, but TT may have had the most success against the Pacers. The blowout loss in December was after we Asik bruised his vag. Dwight can hold David West, while Asik gets Hibbert. I don't expect TT to start, but if Jones doesn't show up early, then we will see a lot of big lineups with Asik and Howard.

Pacers are 27th in the league in bench production. If our bench shows up, I think we have a shot.

I expect a win, Pacers have been slumping lately.

Hopefully Jones/DMo don't get eaten alive by David West. That's the matchup where they have a clear advantage.

I have to say that the fact that the Pacers lost the last to and the latest in embarassing fashion worries me. They are gonna be looking for blood. Maybe it's an unfounded fear idk.

I feel the same.... But at this point The Rockets cant rely on slumping teams to win. They cant rely on players being tired against them or having bad nights. They have to go out there and take victory by force...

Yep, this will be the key matchup. I hope TJones' recent play will continue. I hope he realizes how important he is to the success of the team.

I think Hamilton could come up big as well. His length on D and his shooting will be needed tonight.

I like how the Rockets have been grinding out close wins. It has helped the team know how to play under pressure and learn how to close out tight games. They just haven't figured out how to blow out the teams they should, dropping huge leads, and TO's. If they can fix these holes, it'll put them right up there with the spurs, okc, lac etc.

Duncan, Manu and Parker have been playing together since the early 2000's

WB and Durant have been playing together for what now? 5 years?

Paul and Blake together for over 2 years?

Harden and Howard for ~61 games.....chances are they fix those holes!

Players like Patrick Beverley can bring back what real nba basketball is all about. I respect players that show through their play that they are not scared of any player even Lebron James... and plays every game like it's their last. In 90's the league had lots of Patrick Beverley type players.
