Idea: When we beat Indy, someone tell Granger "this is where you want to be". **** just got real, the "finally at home" version. Let's beat these b****es!
So what you're saying is that with the looming lockout and the fact that we probably won't get to watch the Rockets for an entire season, you don't want to see the team that you supposedly "love" make the playoffs and do something special before there's a year of no basketball?
While realistically I would prefer to go down this path, Adelman's own attitude and personal beliefs about basketball and pride (I mean the guy may retire after this year. After his legacy, you don't tank the year you are likely to retire) and even based on what Hayes, Martin, and Scola have said I see no way whatsoever that this Rockets team will tank or pull any punches at all. Plus with this past 5 game win streak, the Rockets have virtually no shot at a No. 8/7 pick which I wanted. Even now they would need a little help and luck to get to No. 10. So, let's go for it all. As long as the Suns also make the playoffs, I'm all for a turbulent playoff push. All I would ask is for Adelman to give some of these youngsters (T-Will, Thabeet, Carroll, Hill) say a consistent 8-10 minutes a game for 3-5 games. That way they know they will get that amount of minutes for sure with less stress. After that, then take away or add minutes depending on productivity. They may give them some confidence and have a better idea of what they have in these guys for their playoff options like Bimathug mentioned in his salary cap thread. (This is what they should have done in January for about a 10 game stretch.) In sort, Go Rockets Beat the Pacers!!!
In the past, Danny Granger would have been a 3rd wheel on our magicwagon. Now the popular fantasy scenario is Dwight Howard jumping ship. There are no difference makers left out there. Even if Granger gets traded here for way too much, we'd be like the 05 rockets, except instead of T-Mac and nothing, we'd have Granger and nothing.
All we need is for Budinger to come out big on the defensive end and defend Granger and we got this! Rockets 104 Pacers 92
I wanted him as a 3rd wheel. Since Martin and Lee have stepped up,I don't feel the need to have him on the Rockets.
Must win, we can't keep fighting to get to .500 all season long. At some point we have to get over .500, next two games are very important and Memphis plays Dallas tomorrow
our lineup should be Kyle Lowry Courtney Lee Kevin Martin Luis Scola Chuck Hayes it's more balance this way
