I'm worried about the Rockets looking ahead to Dallas on Thursday and having a letdown in this game. Even if that is the case, we should be able to wake up in the last 5 minutes and pull it out.
This is considered a 'trap game'. A weak opponent before a big game for us. I think the guys will try to come out and set the tone early. Good thing is, we really only have to worry about Dunleavy and Granger since Tinsley and O'Neil are not playing. The Pacers are not a very deep team either. If we jump on them early we will run away with it similar to the Wiz game. I think the guys are up for it. I think they are out to prove something to all the doubters. They don't seem to be a cocky bunch of guys. I hope they can use this game to create a rhythm for the big matchup with dallas on thursday. I think B Jax will be our equalizer to J Terry this time around. We can play small ball with them also. That is how they always beat us when deke had to try and play heavy minutes last year under JVG. Not this time, we got something for they "butts".
The Rockets go for their 16th win in a row. I'm excited! The Rockets cannot afford to let this game slip away. It's a must-win situation the rest of the way.
Well, definitely a team that can break out with a great game...I think we can sustain the streak and whoop some azz... Rox: 99 Pacers: 88
AH you beat me to it bro! . . I was going to say that! . . But anyways, hopefully Dunleavy doesn't pull a Kobe on us and we keep playin mad D and kill em with Mt. Mutombo's blocks . . and the usual kill em with our sick shooting! . . 16 in a row and counting and we gotta easily beat the pacers so we can be ready against the Mav's and own them and make this 17! . . So I have faith the Rockets will easily get this 16th win, it's 17 we gotta look forward to!! GO ROCKETS!
I got an e-mail the other day with a deal for a Family Pack of 4 tickets. Problem is I can't get 3 other people to go with me in the middle of the week. Maybe for the Charlotte game next Friday.
