the D is horrible right now. our intensity is down on that end of the floor. scola is stepping up with the pacers' D giving him open shots
another thing if the games pace is just drive to the rim and get benefitted then play that game, stop shooting outside
b/c he's utterly ineffective against this indiana team. they go small and quick and he hasn't done anything defensively and in fact has killed us defensively. we need quicker guys. and now anybody who feels like playing hard b/c right now we're just opening up the lane and giving away the game.
what the f@#k are we doing? call me crazy but i knew this was coming the second landry picked up that over the back foul to end the first half.
This pace is exactly how the Pacers like it. They are in their rhythm. If we want to turn it back around, it's gotta start on defense. Force the Pacers out of their rhythm.
Yao protects rim better than Deke. Deke got more blocks because opponent keep driving to the rim. It's not the case when Yao is there.
Although we should clearly be in the stage of the game when we are up 20 +, it seems we still sort of have control. They are hitting shots (some bad defense has to do with this, too). I like our turnover number, though, and our shooting percentage. We have to win this game. I'm not gonna lie, I was actually kind of bummed about hearing that Dirk won't play tomorrow, because now it won't be a true judgement of where we stand against them, but who cares. A win's a win.
that's why i was so pissed. it was just such a lazy way to throw away 2 points and seemed sympomatic of how we played the last 2 minutes of the half, like it was already over and we didn't have to pay attention to detail anymore. and it has shown here in the 3rd.
dude, they're playing him harder with more double teams coming quicker than in the first half. that's why scola is wide open and hayes has missed 3 point blank layups.
