i meant it like "mother****er! how could you do that landry." not calling him that. and rookie or not, he's 25 and has played bball his whole life. jumping right over someone's back with 3 seconds left in the half to give them ft's should have stopped seeming like a good idea a while ago.
nah, i think it gives the team more confidence. when u have a player who can do this and still play within the offense, u feel invincible. look at how the lakers are playing with kobe right now. when you are a great team with that one truly scary player like tmac is playing in the first half, u feel invincible. again, tmac will always start out looking to pass. but when he's hot like he is, u have to milk it and put this game away. a hot tmac can bust out 15-16 pt quarters with ease.
i'd say the suns, while i would love to jump the suns in the standings, the first priority is to make the playoffs and a nuggets loss will aid in that respect.
Just feeling bad on Scola not shooting a damn ball before getting 3 calls. He should be able to contribute at a consistent level of 10 pts and 8 rebs day in day out. While Tmac is hot, he should seek to pass more to let everyone up the second half. Meanwhile, I do not mind he gets 50 tonite.
it works both ways. if tmac goes off, he'll be doubled/tripled much harder -> get otheres involved. when the role players go off, it gives him more room to operate. our team is too deep to live and die just with tracy every night.
The danger with this is that other players expect the same in the future games, and T-Mac can turn completely cold. Even if T-Mac is hot, I think the team should consciously try to have a balanced offense.
