he makes that statement and doesn't back up w/ proof. i'm fine w/ him saying that but explain WHY u think that's the case.

kenny said his reason - utah plays halfcourt, which plays into the hands of houston w/ yao and tmac. barkley doesn't say crap

An ugly win. I shudder to think what will happen if Rafer lays bricks and Head commits turnovers in the playoffs.

without his 6 TOs, we can win more easily
    but without his 32 pts
    we have lost

So JVG is right: dont face up, just shoot
    haha

rockets won't win. it's as simple as that. rockets need rafer to hit one of those hot streaks come playoffs.

Yeah... the Chinese announcers made a point of this as well. When he put the ball on the floor in the first half, he'd turn it over. So he stopped putting the ball on the floor, and he just shot it instead. JVG said it (or we heard it on TNT) after Yao turned it over trying to drive around O'Neal.

Rafer and Luther probably played their worst basketball of the season. I hope.

Yao was not sharp at all in this game, and yet he still dominated and got us this win. Still got about a month for him to get rolling. Playoffs should be very interesting this year.

It's official: Tonight is the night I gave up on the Pacers season. When JO tweaked his knee that was it. The Pacers are dead to me from now on.

That was a dog ugly win, but I'll take it. How many times did Yao fall down, it has to be a record? Just absolutely awful display of shooting, horrible, BUT, they made them in crunch time. This team does not have that "killer" instinct, not even close. A bunch of nice guys, but they let inferior teams push them around. We need an enforcer bad, really bad. And yes, Charles Barkley is an idiot, but what else is new? He truly hates the Rockets.

Yao is far from satisfaction since still 4 TOs to have a triple double

I get confused. What did you mean "put the ball on the floor" ? Did you mean dribble or what?

That's not the point. Go back to see his original post and the post he quoted.

well didn't yao have like 5 to's in the first half? so he cleaned up nicely in the 2nd half...

and also the rockets looked out of daze, because they probably looked ahead of the detroit game already. No matter how much JVG wanted them to concentrate on this game, it's just human nature to look ahead against a big opponent.

It means he dribbles the ball when he makes his move therefore he's susceptible to the smaller guards who come from the blind side to steal the ball. As oppose to just shooting over the defender without lowering his hands.

chuck just said that every team other than phoenix, dallas, san antonio, utah, detroit and MIAMI are mediocre...
