i feel like every time yao is able to hold on to the ball, he scores. that frustrates me. i feel like he knows turnovers are his weakness, and since he works hard on weaknesses in his game every summer i hope he can do something about it.

he needs to adopt the bill walton type stance with the ball--under the chin, maybe about chest level with the elbows all the way out at a 90% angle to the body. that way, anyone who tries to reach in and steal gets a mouthful of yao's forearm, and they think twice about gambling for that steal next time. it might be dirty, but if you've ever seen tape of walton his MVP year, you understand that it works....well, and is about all yao can do at his size (he's not getting quicker...)

Does anyone else think that Jeff Foster would make for a PERFECT PF next to Yao? He's basically a taller version of Chuck Hayes who can shoot a mid-range jumper.

He would be a perfect fit on this team...

 

The CCTV announcers (the young ones are much better) just made an interesting comment. Apparently it's a Rockets tradition to have everyone on the team put $100 into a March Madness pot. Apparently, the leader after 32 games is none other than V-Span, who apparently GOT ALL 32 GAMES RIGHT!

 

jeff foster might also be the ugliest man alive.

that's the 3rd floater that tinsley has put up w/in 3 feet of Yao...i'd like to see it shoved down his throat

tinsley needs to teach rafer how to shoot a floater that catches a ton of rim but still falls in.

and i've gotta say i've never seen foster be any sort of shooter.

That's because he NEVER looks for his shot, but he's almost automatic from 15-18ft.

Keep in mind that no one on the entire Pacers squad demands double teams, so it's not exactly like he gets many chances to put it up.

Anyways,

The Rockets are letting the Pacers frustrate their offense, I think we're trying too hard now instead of just playing the game.

This game is a good test to see if we can overcome our frustrations, adjust and make something happen.
