Rox has no chance against any teams with a decent center and a long athletic PF. It is pretty easy to play against the Rox, so predictable. Be physical with Yao Ming, ask your PF to be ready to double whenever Yao starts to get the ball. Ignore Cato on the offensive side. Trap SF who could be a TO machine. In all likelihood, you will come out a winner.

It will be an very ugly game on Chirstmas Day. Man, we are having problems scoring 70pts on our home court against an Eastern conf. team, i bet we will not score more than 65 points against Lakers.

The good news is Laker will not double team Yao. The bad news is the result is the same. :(

I can understand JJ not hitting the shots, but Maurice and Cuttino have been consistent outside shooters. The ball movement was good. There were some beautiful plays which got some shooters open. They missed them.

    No, I'm not jesting.

The Spurs have a big man who is not afraid of his own shadow.

Plus they shot nearly 60% for the first 3 quarters.

Without Malone, Rox will not lose big because its weakness on PF and SF will not be exposed.

My prediction: it is going to be a competitive game between the Lakers and Rox.

Malone is not playing. If he were playing against the Rockets on Christmas day, it could go down as the worst loss in franchise history. Thursday's game could be a massacre.

Disappointment after disappointment. Frustration after frustration.

Ladies and gentlemen, a long losing streak is coming and Rox is about to sink to the bottom of the division.  :(

Yao didn't play. He was just an big 7'6" ornament. Poor guy wasting his talents on a crappy team that doesn't pass him the ball.

When are we going to make a trade?

Or are we just going to keep fooling ourselfs? A Rox win over the Lakers would only be foolsgold.
