4 game losing streak for Rockets. Losses to Phoenix, Indiana, Lakers and Denver consecutively. 15-14 after this nightmare.

I hope JVG quit for good, just as he did in NY.

Maybe Moochie should practice with Yao a lot passing and catching to the post. Moochie can be a valuable part of the team.

Feigen predicted that Rockets would be 16-15 on New Year's. Looks like he is right. He accurately predicted 43-39 last season. This season he predicts that Rockets will be 44-38. Sadly, this will not be enough to reach the playoffs.

Look our starting forwards production (4 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist) and Indy's (28 pts, 11 rbs, 5 assists)

    This is exactly rockets' problem.

Yao didn't do too much. But the opposite center did nothing except trying to stop Yao.

This kind of 3 on 5 or 3.5 on 5 offense won't work. The minimal requirement for a NBA starter should hit the open shots, except somebody like Rodman and big Ben.

I'd be in favor of trading Yao to Golden State to fortify this team. JJ should not be starting. If Maurice can't score, he's a zero. Someone please draft solid players for once.

We should have an offensive coordinator in addition to JVG's defensive coaching duties. :D

It seems that Carroll Dawson loves to trade away all the draft picks. When will he get the blame?

This team makes me cry and weep on the inside. Except there's no tissues to wipe off my tears. Instead all these past 4 years of weeping has built up like a barrell on the inside of me and I feel like I'm drowning with all this sorrow and pity I have over myself being a Rockets fan. You see it could be so much easier being a Lakers fan, or a Spurs fan. ****, it'd be easier being a Tragic or Clippers fan. Atleast when you watch them you know they'll suck. But this team. This team I see with so much potential, yet absolutely no desire. No heart, only content with mediocrity. These tears are suffocating me, and I feel like I'm going over the edge on the verge of just not watching them play anymore. Simply save myself the torture and just wince everytime I look at the boxscore instead of actually witnessing such a thrashing this team puts themselves through. It's not as though they can't beat these teams. They're very capable. But they're sadistic. It's like they have the mentality of a self mutilator. It's like they enjoy sucking so much, and it pains me so much to watch them slice away at themselves. I fear for this team when they play the Lakers. Because they haven't been completely exposed for the sucky team they're playing like just yet. But on the day that's probably one of the most watched nationally televised basketball games. The biggest game of the day of the 3 head to head matchups that day airing at a time when people are most likely to watch them. I fear they'll be exposed for being the self mutilating mediocre team that they are, and that they'll do nothing to stop or change it. I see no progress with this team. Only regression. For every time I think a see the slightest optimistic window to think that this team might actually play well consistently, there's ten other times where they show the big gaping window of regression. Why must this team settle for playing like ****? Why must this team settle for being mediocre? Why must they torture me everytime I watch them. Why are causing me to drown in all my tears on the inside? Why?

how is he suppose to to do much when he doesent get enough touches. He needs to come out and speak to the media or somethin saying he needs more touches. And he always posts up but dont get the ball.

Its not worthwhile posting. There isnt anything good to say and all the poor play is so obvious.JVG is just about to get it after all!
'It' being that he has taken on a problem team without realising the gigantic task that was awaiting him in Houston.

Your post yesterday concerning the forwards is all so true after watching Maurice and JJ on the court in the 1st half.

I'm a Rockets fan, and I see an opportunity for a Herschel Walker-like trade here.

The Clippers are good this year. They beat the Mavericks twice this season, something that Houston will not do this decade.
