I agree with you. In the rockets team, ironically, all new added guys know how to pass the ball, and most veteran in Rudy's team don't know to pass the ball to the open big guy near the basket.

It is hard to get any better by trading yao, because he is not get paid much compared to what he has to offer. Where can you find a better deal?

Let's say we bundle Yao+Moochiee+Mo (has to keep Cato to play C), that only give you 16-17 mil, just about enough to get J Oneal. I wouldn't even trade Yao for JO straight up. Who else can we get for this 3 player bundle? T'wolve is not going to let KG go, Shaq is old. If Webber is healthy, I would consider Webber+B. Miller (Maybe Kings won't).

Bottom line, with the little money Yao makes, it is best to keep him.

you must of misread my post, i am saying to keep yao and trade steve. It is clear he does not want to pass as showed by todays game. But managment is stupid so i cant get my hopes up for trading steve.

I would have liked to see Pike get more minutes tonight with Cat being so off. He might have been able to score some points.
Very disappointing. I really think we should seriously look at getting another PG without waiting any further.

I think all Rox players should have a crush course on Chinese, so Yao can use his familiar Chinese on the court. At least learn a few words "ball", "left", "right", "mine", etc. That will make communication a lot better and confuse the opponents totally.

Without Malone, Lakers 46-61 half time against the Warriors.
A PF who can defend and shoot the 12-15-foot jumper is very important in the zone era.

Rox has a chance against the Lakers.

Tonight the opposing C/PF positions collect a total 19 fouls. This showed Yao's effect. Indy collapsed around him and fouled him very hard. There must be some open shots outside.

There were many open shots, but most of them were misses.

Fundamental basketball teaches you when you get a rebound, under the basket, you go straight up with it. If you get the rebound [dribble] then go up with it ,the defender has a chance to block your shot. This is what Mo Taylor did all night in this game. So he got a lot of offensive rebound, he also misses a lot of shoots by bouncing the ball after an offensive rebound. Put Mo in a video room of Larry Bird games . Have him watch when Bird got an offensive rebound , he didn’t dribble he shot the ball. I picked Bird because he couldn’t jump very high but he knew the fundamentals of scoring. Scoring is what the Rockets couldn’t do right now..

Man we suck. This is so disheartening. What the hell has happened to our offense. This is so pathetic.

Now I am not sure if I want to see the LA vs Houston game.

Though we play badly tonight, we are still having the 6th best record (tied with Mavs) in Western Conference.

    GO ROCKETS!
