Let's see how many games we will lose in a row by letting Yao takes this few shots! Either JVG or our guards are out of their mind! We beat ourselves tonight by stubbornly jacking up bricks!

well yeah, since yao is only allowed to shoot when hes in the post, and its an easy pass thats idiot proof. its not like yao can face up, its not like yao can hit an outside jumper if he cant get position in the post. if yao doesnt have position when im finished skipping the ball up the court, im just going to have to cross over and try not to bounce the ball off my foot.

I'm in favor of this. I think the Rockets can really get a good trade package for Yao. Why in the heck did Rudy T and CD sign Maurice Taylor for $8 million per year till 2006-2007?

i dont get why u would want to trade yao. He shot 75% while steve did not. And what makes u think that steve will take us to the playoffs by himself, he sure didnt do it in the past.

This is the kind of performance that is going to pack'em in the seats for weeks to come at the Toyota Center.

Be part of something inept. :(

Rockets, feel free to make a few baskets here and there.

Actually, I agree on the other post saying main problem is the 2,3,4. They cannot make shot.
If some ever look the last year piston game, they have Ben and curry. Detroit have very low and ugly game. They won game becaude tough defense ( credit for coach and lucky in east). But at least Ben and Curry don't waste shot .
    The same thing here.

Exactly. Where did the offense game go for the rest of this team? How can go from shooting 50% two games ago to 34% tonight? They need practise shooting a lot! This is ugly to watch.

You aren't kidding. They say in college that the best 5 players must be on the court at the same time since zone defense means the offensively weakest player isn't even guarded. Rockets have JJ and Cato in the starting lineup. When Cuttino and Maurice aren't shooting well, it's like climbing Mt. Everest. Van Gundy better tell Boki and Padgett to get their jump shots going in practice. I'd rather see these two try their shots at making a bucket.

If the Players have a notion that the Rockets are shopping Players, then the Players are going to play BAD Ball just to lower their value. We have a Team of Players that just desire a status quo, I bet they would even rather have Rudy back because he demanded so little from them. Thats my impression that I feel after watching to-nights Street Ball masquerading as an NBA Team.

Because Yao will go nowhere with SF's Assist/TO 1:1 ratio. SF is terrible this season. And people think it's because of Yao in the paint.

Yao was not aggressive offensively tonight. He got the ball a lot in the first half and passed out all but 4 times, even when they weren't doubling. There were times he was open and they didn't pass but that happens to every player every game.

It may be time soon to rebuild. This current lineup is not championship quality, so there's no point in keeping things together just so we miss the playoffs by 4 games instead of 15.

Well, at this point I really hope Rox keep losing, then maybe we can get #1 or #2 overall pick in 2004 draft and get a decent PF. Roxs' ugly ball is really killing NBA. I hope David Stern will pick up phone right away and order JVG to quit this disgusting bball.

Zone is definitely creating havoc now. Even Duncan only scored 8 points against the Rox.

Do we still have 1st round pick next year? I think we traded it.

I think the rockets are limiting Yao's offensive talents. So many times I saw Yao WIDE WIDE open on a PnR 8-12 ft away from the basket but he never get the ball even when he raises his hand signaling for the ball. The guy is automatic on that type of face up shots why not give him that option.
