With something to prove, the whole team turns it on tonight.

    - Yao needs to prove he can be the man on this team.
    - The guards and TMac need to prove that they're willing to make this team better by finding Yao.
    - JVG needs to prove he can do a good job use Tmac and Yao together and hold on his job.

Yao is getting the ball where he likes it and score at will. TMac finding Yao time and time again (like in Toronto game where yao score 40). Role players chip in and hitting opened shots.

    here's my predication:
    Yao 40 points, 11 rbs, 4 blks, 6 asst
    TMac 40 points, 10 rbs, 3 stls, 14 asst
    Sura 7 pts, 5 rb, 6 asst
    Howard 20 pts, 6 rbs, 3 asst
    Mutombo 5 pts, 7 rbs, 3 blks
Wesley goes 3/3 from down town

    O'neal: 38 points, 5 rbs, 3 blks, 5 asst. 9/29 FG
Tinsley: 20 points, 11 asst, 4/9 from downtown

It's going to be a close one, come down to last minute:
    Rockets 129
    Pacers 126

I bet Carlisle tells Jeff Foster to front Yao. Like clockwork.

    At least no fouls yet...

Yao may be the biggest "streak" player we have... by streak player, I mean when he gets going good... ALL aspects of his game picks up.

Energy level, defense, rebounding, court awareness... its almost as if he's a whole nother player.

It truly is "all or nothing" right now when it comes to him... which is actually the mark of a still developing player (which he is). But, at least he's capable of giving the "all"... unlike such waste of talents like Mo-T.

It was an offensive foul. Jeff Foster was outside the circle, and he wasn't moving when Yao ran into him.

Rick Ankiel, Mark Wohlers, BJ Kim are all examples of guys who lost it after they had horrible playoff performances. I still think it's too early, but Yao may be another one.

can someone on site tell Ming to hold on and relax?
if you dont relax you cannt play well.

    6 chances, 4 screwed, 2 TOs
    2 fouls

TMac cannt be taking it night after night

    Hmm... you're right!

Now, lets get the sport right.... basketball is a HELLUVA lot easier than throwing a baseball 90+miles per hour to a target no bigger than a hand from 90 feet away.

Its also pretty easy for Yao at times... I know this is just a flat out slump because he's not doing ANYTHING right... and that's the way its always been with him (all or nothing phenomenon).
