    1. Yea, Yao got so many more touches with Rudy as coach.
    2. Yea, Divac is a great mentor fo Yao.
    3. Go look at career 3pt % of those three as well as Barry, Wesley & TMac and then come back and tell me who are better shooters.
    4. And, when did you talk to Yao personally to know this is what he REALLY wants?

And I liken you to the dirty possum coming in thinking you can steal the good crops.

Yea, as a Rocket fan, having Mihm as the starting center gets me so hard! He can lead us to a dynasty!

Charvo, your posts are now bordering on idiocy. You bash Yao in one thread and then come back and bash other players and/or coach for his lack of production in another thread. Take a hint bro! People are getting pretty sick of your same 'ol crap that you constantly rehash on a weekly basis. Go away, you're not wanted here! If you want to see Yao running up and down the Staples Center so bad, go pop your copy of ESPN2K5 in your XBOX and have at it, cause that is the ONLY place your little wet dream will come true.

JVG sucks! Bob Sura too. He has been abused by Tony Parker, Jason Willams, and J Tinsley at will in the last three games.

Sura has given all he has. The only problem is that he is not a natural lead guard. People complain that he rarely passes the ball to Yao. However, in some of those occasions Sura was just dribbling the ball and did not see Yao open under the basket.

Sura is a 2 guard playing the point with a badly injured knee that could give out at any time. That he's the best option they have at the point should tell you all you need to know about truly bad things are in the Rockets' backcourt. This is a DIRECT consequence of the T-Mac trade where CD traded his starting backcourt without having in place a plan to replace his starting PG. They have been in catchup mode ever since: Ward, Sura, Barrett, Wesley. This is impacting everyone's play - especially Yao Ming who is often lost in the offensive shuffle because the guards can't get the ball to him. Expect this to be a continuing source of weakness throughout this season (and beyond if Dawson is still the GM next year).

So, if Wesley is such a good on the ball defender, why didn't Wesley guard Tinsley?

He did for a while and it slowed him down, but whenever we went back to Sura, Tinsley torched us.

He also didn't allow Reggie Miller to go off.

I don't know if last night's 7.8% 3 point shooting percentage is a franchise low for a game, but it was bad. No half-court offense can have shooters with this horrible accuracy. This is why I have said for quite a while that Yao is the odd man out in the Rockets' offense. You've got TMac, Sura, and Wesley who all want to get out on the break to get easy points. The horrid ability to shoot the 3 prevents the Rockets from getting points easily in the half-court. 2+2=4

    So true. Those were terrible.

So was watching the game though. My cousin and I think that the rocket's like to run a play called the pick, d*ck, and brick:

Set up a million picks on the 3pt line with no one rolling to the basket.
Pass a few times (d*ck around).
Jack up a lousy 3 point attempt.

Why did he go back to Sura? If Sura can't guard Tinsley, you gotta go with Wesley. That's the kinda stuff I don't understand. I didn't get to see the game last night so maybe I am talking out of turn here. But it's just like the other night when we had Barry bringing up the ball against Earl Watson. You could tell that wasn't gonna work from the get go. Barry does not have the quickness to get the ball up nor to defend the 1's. Why put him out there for a couple turnovers and -4 points on the other end? I don't understand stuff like that.

Sura's playing on a bad knee and on a good day without that bad knee he isn't gonna be able to keep up with the little, quick guards. Why isn't Wesley playing the 1's and Sura the 2's on defense? Or maybe give TMac a shot at controlling Tinsley? Like I said, maybe this happened and it didn't work. I didn't get to see the game. All I know is that Sura and Barry are not the answer defending the smaller, quicker 1's. You gotta go with somebody else, either Wesley or Barrett or TMac. Until they prove that they can't defend the 1's as good as Sura and Barry, which would mean they have to be worse than bad.

You cant expect a bunch of 35 year olds to bring it every game. Lot of tired legs out there. Funny, we only have Tmac and Yao young among the core group. Oh, well, Yao's stamina is not much better than the 35 year old.

Pacers is now losing to the horrible Hornets and shooting only 3-13 3 pointers today. How come they beat us and lose to Hornet?

    This is life.
