wow! i'd figured Harden would've taken more than 6 three pointers in situations like that.

Mcgrady in Toronto, Mcgrady in Orlando, Mcgrady In Houston it does not matter he was not on par with Kobe during his best years... He just wasn't. Yes I agree he was talented. He was just simply this raw scoring machine period. But I don't think its fair to compare them because they are two completely different type of players... Anyways, there has to be more to a player than scoring and highlight dunks.... There are tons of high scorers in the league and there will always be... But every generation has a couple of players that are different and don't abide by the league average. They are special and they win rings... I think Harden might just be one of them. Only time will tell... And I don't mean that he does it with easy because he does not smile... I mean he does it with ease because he does it with easy... Calm, collected and out to kill.... The fact that he is expressionless almost makes you wonder what is going on in his head and if this guy truly has no fear or nerves in certain situations.... I love T-Mac... One of my fav players but Harden.... Harden is something I have never seen before on The Rockets...

see i thought orlando mcgrady was better than the kobe at the time but its just kobe is on another level mentally than most people not named jordan. of course health was kobe's side too. Harden i am not sure yet. I can see what you mean and I give him props for the big shots but alot of times he wouldnt have to make these shots if he didnt go thru phases of wtf was that...Hes still young so it is what it is.

This game should have never gone to overtime, and to give up that many points to a team with most of their top players injured is pathetic. The Rockets need a hard-nose coach who will not accept poor effort instead of a player's coach who will sit on his ass and not hold players accountable. You would never see a game like this against a depleted team under the likes of a Popovich or Doc Rivers.

    Seriously?

Write properly, please. That is a huge run-on.

As worthless as TMac was in regards to winning, he was a better basketball player than Harden. Now whose going to go on to have a better or more successful career, time will tell. But in regards to ability, McGrady is superior to Harden.

Anyone that's watched both can tell you that.

It's refreshing to read an off topic argument that doesn't involve Lin.

I thought the refs had it against the Nuggets

Being at the game, I don't get the courtesy replay after every whistle, but from our POV, lots of crappy calls in the last few minutes to offset the crappy calls earlier, but this time favoring houston. Harden and Garcia were fouling on that press like no tommorow.

Regardless, this win is a morale booster. So I'm happy with that. If I was Denver, I'd be thrilled about getting another L, but question the refs.

re-watch the game a bit, Brooks was

    5-18 11pts on lin
    5-5 11pts on Canaan
    1-1 2pts on Harden switch

Impression from the live game was that Brooks scores on Lin a lot, not the case, guess scores on Lin do count twice in memory.

Ignore bro, the feature has made CF so much more readable. You don't even have to enact that the 1 strike policy, make it 2 or 3.

    Seriously?

If you don't like the way I write then don't read my posts. I don't need to write a perfect essay in order to get my point across. Like I need someone on the interweb checking my sentences. There are going to be hundreds of posts on this thread and every thread on clutchfans. So are you gonna go back and check everyone's work as well? Its a forum and people from all walks of life will post and make mistakes so just learn to ignore it or get the hell out of the forum. Hate it when people try to put others down based on grammar in a thread board. Learn to ignore common mistakes or deal with it. If you don't like it then gtfo.

Also, I completely disagree. T-Mac in terms of ability is superior than Harden? What Ability? Jumping? Running? Shooting? Defense? At least back up your statement with a legit answer because I damn well know you aren't referring to basketball in general. T-Mac's stats offensively on his 5th season looks similar to Harden this year right before he exploded for 32 pts a game the following season. But as far as FG%, PTS, 3% and Assist they are extremely close and Harden even has a slight edge on him... No, I watched Orlando Mcgrady and Rockets Mcgrady and it would be ridiculous to say that its not even close. Yes Mcgrady had more flash but guess what? That didn't win us jack did it? Mcgrady is NOT superior than Harden...

True, but the Rockets will need both of them back soon, as the defense is almost nonexistent when Asik sits, or Lin is not on the opposing point guard.

In what way was he better?

You haven't done anything except state it.

Harden has far more ability than McGrady.
Anyone that's watched both can tell you that.

Well as long as winning is the bottom line Tmac is worthless and Harden is the better player because he's a winner.

From my unreliable memory, I think TMac was more athletic.
Jump higher, run faster, circus tricks kind of player (not that he
actually is or isnt. This is just in my memory that is).

But I think JHarden is the more effective player.

If I was doing a selection in my backyard b/ball game,
I'd be going with JHarden over TMac.

Harden waking up and scoring at will + Lin playing good D to cause 2 huge turnovers won us the game. Asik was great all throughout.
