We need to win tonight and show that we can beat a WC team, the WC has owned us this season. I wish we could have gotten Patterson, he is a tough SOB.

 

Rox should win this one just because of the type of match up.. We match up well against any team without strong 3pt shooting.

I think Patterson will make JVG look stupid for passing up on trading for him but instead went for Lampe

 

Yao will get pwned. Melo will light us up. We will still win.

 

Hey George Ming, criticism of Yao is not an affront to his greatness.

Fact: Yao falls at least a couple times a game.
Fact: Yao is running on fumes late in the game.

I'm not making this up.

 

Yao is playing his best basketball with heart and leadership.
He is not shy from taking responsibility in cluch time. A couple missed shots only make him better. I am looking forward his another big game.

but I predict a loss. It will be nice to see JVG gone mad. I like to read his flamming quotes.

I don't usually make predictions, but... JVG finally gets that much-needed "wind beneath his gym shorts" with a win and RyBo going off for 40.

Yao looks on in confusion as the crowd starts chanting "Thi-bo-deaux" and TMac begins organizing a pre-relief hurricane party for yet to be displaced gulf coast folk.

JVG conducts his post-game interview in morse code so we can finally actually understand he's a happy guy.

 

Despite their lack of outside shooting, I think this is going to be a war and if we ain't ready we could get our clocks cleaned. Denver has traded for Patterson and Evans. THem 2 along with Martin and Najera, beating and banging around in the paint.....it's gonna be a long night for Juwan.........again, I'm afraid.

I think we are gonna struggle on the boards and if our shots aren't falling, it could be a very long night.

ANd I hope I am dead wrong. I hope we come out hitting shots and dominating the paint. But these guys are gonna be P-H-S-Y-I-C-A-L.

 

Can I make a request?

If/when someone finds a channel on pplive TV or a feed on ppstream that they know is working for the game, could they post a new sticky thread and put it in the title, just below the game thread?

Or, if the admins don't want a new thread made for it, could the poster put it up in this thread in big font, or bolded, or a different color, or whatever, so the rest of us can find it?

If I find a channel that's working I'll be sure to post it here.

I predict that if Yao doesn't score at least 29 and grab 15 boards, WNBA will completely flip out and start posting stupid gibberish bashing Yao for the umpteenth time - clogging up ClutchBBS in the process. Such is WNBA's twisted YOFish attachment to Yao. If Yao fails at basketball, WNBA fails at life. Only the most extreme YOFs live vicariously through Yao's on-court achievements, basing their sense of self-worth and esteem on Yao's game stats. WNBA is precisely one of these people.

Researcher's Note: The aforementioned hypothesis is consistent with my "WNBA is a 38 year old virgin" theorem.
