That's nothing. The block on Miller was sicker than a mad cow with bird flu.

Sorry I think I have to side with the haters this time because they have this picture to prove it.

Boykins is sealing off Yao pretty well and Yao looks so helpless.

Hmm...can you just sit back, take a deep breathe and then try to appreciate the defensive game which this guy has played tonight? It's not the end of the world that he has just missed the 20-10 mark by 1 rebound.

Well I was waiting tonight for a long time, I wanted to see how Yao would fare against a good center. He got 21/9...that's great considering T-Mac had 11 boards, Swift had 6, and Bogans had 7.

I think we could call Yao consistent, but we can't sit on it. We need to see Yao keep up his amazing production at least 5-6 more games because we're playing good teams, then I'll completely sold on his consistency.

The only reason I'm saying this is because Yao has had these type of streaks before.

T-Mac and Yao are just clicking right now, I hope they both keep it up, if they do, I have a stong feeling we're going to make some noise for the 8th spot.

The bad news is, Lakers and Sacramento won tonight, so, we're still 4 games back of 8th spot...

Tell me why I saw Ewing, Mutombo and Brunson at club Envy tonight? Brunson didn't see too impressed with the Houston chicks, and I don't ever want to see Mutombo dance again....

Yao has not had a streak of this calibre, and extended over this many games. Maybe 21/10 streaks before (when he was a 17-18pts, 8-9rbs guy), but never 25+/15+ over 6 games.

    -G'day-

yao's never ever played like this before. this isn't just a streak, it's a total mindset change that has allowed him to move forward. this yao is here to stay and he'll be getting even better.

Yao has that aggression now. his not willing to back down anymore. his block on K-MART shows that he is getting that nasty mentality. not saying he should be dirty, but as he is showing now, nothing wrong with throwing you're humongus 7'6 and 310 pounds frame around either. people use to say yao despite his size did'nt scare them, but now, i beg to differ. you bring anything into yaos bavckyard, and you will be collecting spalding out of you're mouth for a long, long time.

Now no one worries about our guards' shooting? It still sucked last night.

    Couple of quick points.

    • Not that I am saying anything that everyone else doesnt know, but my goodness, our starting backcourt's shooting is beyond ridiculous! Their lack of shooting is absolutely KILLING us!

    • Watching Swift play tonight like he did makes it maddening that he cant do it more consistantly. He plays well with Yao with his cuts to the basket and his footspeed. I root for Swift to succeed. I want him to.

    • Yao looks like he is finally comfortable accepting the double team. He isnt getting the ball stripped anymore. He looks "comfortable" making decisions when he is doubled. He is finding the open shooter or cutter such as Swift. Yao's processing of information is much better and thus is making him even more dangerous to the opponent.

also heard on tv during the orlando game that yao was playing in pain with his busted toe for a quite a while, and kept putting off surgery.
now since coming back from his operation he's a step quicker and more confident it seems. he's playing better now partly due to he's not playing through pain anymore.
