Swift stole some from him and I think Yao could not be happier to this. :)

You can say it but Yao haters will shut you out. Keep it to yourself.

Our front court (Tmac, Yao, Swift) gave us 59 points, 26 rebounds, that's great! Swift is Yao's wingman, they can make each other better! JVG, please start Swift!!!

I think Yao cares more about the W than the streak of double-double. And we ALL care more about W than personal stats, :) . Go Rocket!

The problem with Swift is that he can't hit the open jumper consistently.

which is made up by putbacks from Juwan's constant misses.

I agree. But JVG should put him in, at least Swift can D and rebound. To be honest, I like JHoward, but his D really makes me nervous.

Neither can Juwon. Swift's J is decent though, more importantly he can go to the basket instead of settling for the jumper.

Keep in mind that Howard hits that open jumper that eases some double team pressure off Yao. In addition, JuHo is more adept at feeding the post than Swift. Finally, Swift posts up a lot of the time too so if you've got Swift AND Yao in together at all times, they're bound to start getting in each others way.

It's better to mix things up. On days when we face more plodding PFs, Howard's the way to go to spread the floor. Obviously tonight with opponents like Kmart, you need an equally athletic guy like Stro. Different PFs for different situations. None of these blanket statements like, "Stro for president" no no no "Juwan for Emperor!" etc etc

Just back from a meeting and missed the 3rd and 4th qtrs, Yao seems contribute a bit to the win :D .

Didn't I say that Yao will pay it back in the 2nd half when Camby gave him 2 blocks in a row? :)

    Really? How about....

20/10?? Thats weak for a 7-6 center. He should be averaging 40/20 atleast.

4 blocks only tonight for Yao? Camby got 5 and he wasnt even an All star.

Yao is soft. He had rebounds stolen from several times in the game.

Yao got his jump hook blocked. How could a 7-6 player get his jump hook blocked?

    Yao smiles funny.

    Yao eats flied lice.

Yao's restaurant is overpriced and food sucks.

Yao is the All time leader at # of times a player has fallen down in the NBA game.

Yao high fives Juwan after Juwan bricks a shot.

Yao is too slow. He was still on the court at halftime while his teammates were already in the locker room.

Boykins was guarding Yao and Yao passed the ball out instead of driving on Boykins and slammng in his grill from the 3 point line....

I was being nice about Swifts' jumpshooting abilities. He's almost as bad as Rybo, IMO.

Juwon can make the open J. And he's more than average and a little less than good on his jumpshots.

I saw that too. I was like “WTF? No Foul?”
But I have to repeat myself at least 5 or 6 times tonight.

This is a great game. The team-defense was excellent! Denver only got 6 fastbreak points, way below their season average. T-mac played great D, so did eveyone else. I love T-mac, and I do think he played a more balanced game today, which is good for Rocket.

That's the only way they can stop Yao.

I actually prefer Swift's jumper to Juwan's. It is smooth with a soft release and Swift can actually elevate off the floor for it. Juwan's shot is flat with a huge hitch and unreliable release.

You know, Ruben Patterson single hadnedly lost this game for the Nuggets by forcing the one on one action with McGrady and getting shut down. He had to have had 8 or 9 turnovers all by himself. He hurt their offense big time.

One thing that I did like about Van Gundy tonight. He substituted out Wesley with Bogans and left Bogans in there. It's obvious Wesley's shot was off and he can't guard Anthony anyways. Bogans made more sense and he stuck with him. Wesley is not effective if he's not drilling that jumper.

And Van Gundy made it a point to give Swift minutes and keep giving him minutes in both halves.

Man, I wished Swift would respond with consistent production.
