    Rockets face huge game today.

Today's game is huge in so many ways.

    1) If Dallas Loses and Rockets win we are the 5th seed! (Tied with Suns, I believe we have tie breaker with them right now)

    2) This game shows if Rockets can still matchup with the mid tier teams in the NBA + huge confidence booster if we can blow them out.

    3) It is national game so maybe the analysts will start to give us some credit without Yao (if we can win).

Anyone else agree this is one of our biggest games of the year. (Oddly enough the Rockets play another Huge game in 2 games later at Dallas I sure hope that game is our 17th win in a row!

Take the games one at a time. D is key to Rockets sucess and these top tier team will find out how good the D really is.

Team are so close right now, the seeding at this point doesn't really matter. Psychologically, it might actually be better for us to be at the 8th or 7th seed, just so we don't get complacent.

they're at peak form now. wins now would be affirmation to themselves and the rest of the league they deserve to be up there. their self-belief can only grow. if they lose it could go the other direction and they slump badly from now to the end.

That is why people call Gasol soft. He is bodied up by Dampier. Bynum would have owned him.

Gasol is not playing his position, he is PF. Turiaf is getting dominated

This is even bigger than I thought. Denver has 3 games left with Memphis, so pencil in 3 wins. The Gasol trade was such BS and could affect playoff seedings as I don't give them a chance in hell to win another game if they tried. I think someone should step in and guarantee Memphis cannot get a top 5 pick.

No. not at all. I am thinking about the same thing and I am pulling for guys like Gasol/Kobe to fall down. If they do win in the end, then for sure there is no basketball god.

    Fair game. that's all matters

Why didn't Kobe look for the fade away.

    WHY?
