Yea.. but I hope people are not that idiotic. We all know that we are always a better team with Yao but we are still a very good team without him as well.

Although I know there are still a lot of games left in the regular season, we might be able to grab 4th seed for playoffs if we continue like this cuz NO is playing poorly...

Hated how the ESPN guys made it seem like Iverson's "hand injury" was a big reason for their loss. Happened with New Orleans too. "It's not really the Rockets, but New Orleans missed a bunch of shots they usually make." Uhhhh...maybe its our suffocating defense? That being said, let people write us off and we'll keep shutting em up.

 

Wow, we won by double digits despite shooting 18 less FTs. You don't see that everyday.

dude no one is on you for hating Nuggets, all we are saying is that the Rockets beat a good team today. I don't think anyone would say with a straight face that Mavs or Jazz are a bad team. But I am sure we all hate them.

End of 3rd quarter

 

I gotta say, this team is showing some toughness -both physically and mentally-that I've haven't seen in all the years Mcgrady has been here. This team, in my opinion, has exceeded the 04-05 team that had tough-minded players like Sura, Wesley, and Jon Barry. But unlike that team, we now actually have the physical talent (even our scrubs are way better than those three) to match up against elite teams, even though we lost Yao. There's no reason this team should not atleast match the 20-10 stretch of last year when Yao was out. Granted, this year has been one of the most competitive playoff race in the West in quite a while. But on the other hand, we have nothing to lose, and everything to gain-a la the Giants.

This showed tonight against a team that was so offensively loaded and minded. We could've been in trouble in from the very beginning, what with the 7 turnovers (3 of them by Tmac btw) early, with 6 of them being converted by the Nuggets. Instead, the team never quivered and shrunk back, and dug in and played tight team defense, and played efficiently on offense.

I just heart this hybrid philosophy of JVG hard-nosed defense/ free-flowing offense

 

If we were to snag the 4th spot who would be the most probable opponent come playoff time?

 

The jury on Shaq is still out. I don't understand why there aren't just as much can Phoenix make playoffs questions as we have.

I haven't seen any props given to Mutumbo, so I'll do it. 3 more blocks!
