ClutchFans Game Thread: Nuggets @ Rockets 3/2/2008

usually i text my friend for scores when im at work but i dont think i will this time. im so afraid. 15 is really impressive. 14 is not so much

 

Denver is a team that we can beat and must best at home.

After this home stretch we'll be facing a number of elite teams in a row so every game now is a must-win.

 

fifteen will be sweet.

 

Lets keep doing what we been doing.

Its going to be EXTREMELY tough...

toughest game out of the past 15 for sure.

AI and Carmello aren't going to want to pack it in quite yet..

If the Rockets don't win this game, I'm going to be dissappointed. Houston should win this game if they play their best ball.

Not having Yao is not an excuse if they lose.

 

we did lose to them without tmac though.

 

We did not play Landry then. We have Bobby Jackson, adding to our depth at point guard. Bonzi Wells likely played in that game and sucked. Scola is more assertive now.

This is a better team now even with Yao out.

Weird seeing Stephen A. Smith totally dismiss the impact of Landry and Scola. I guess he does not follow the Rockets on a daily basis.

Nuggets had 3 people in double figures.
Carmelo and AI both had 30+
chucky atkins had 13




Overall very marginal game....Teams have changed in a way except denver is same way, but rockets giving more touches to scola and landry. Tmac will lead but needs to have his shot going and rafer needs to lock up AI

Time for Mt. Mutombo to shine and OWN CAMBY and TMAC needs to really score and we need to make sure AI doesn't drive to the basket 24/7 and make him shoot jumpshooters. We need to contain the 2 super stars and play mad defense and hope our downtown shooting helps us out again, because that IS basically our game now. TMAC needs to realize this is a serious game, and lets see how he reacts. I say 15-0 babym, I believe!

 

*I meant to say jumpshots, not jumpshooters! Sorry.

 

The denver nuggets have 5 guys who average double figures, but most of their games they have 3 guys in double figures. We can light it but it all depends on if we struggle offensively. If we struggle...we lose. If both teams struggle...we win due to our defense. If we are on....we win.

So with my half ass analysis we have a 2/3 chance of winning. If Yao was here we wouldn't even need to be crossing our fingers
