    DUDE.. that Nuggets that started driving from the 3 point corner.. he must've thought he had a wide open lane and Mutumbo was timing it the whole time... no chance.

    that's kinda how battier has always been. he's never been a lockdown artest/bowen type of defender who just physically attacks and intimidates the offensive player and completely throws them off their game. while his team defense is incredible, his man defense has always kind of been like our overall team defensive plan. he stays in front, tries to make sure you take a jumper even if it's not the most contested jumper ever, and generally just does a good job of making sure you don't get easy baskets.

    that's basically what we do. we force teams to take jumpers, limit easy shots, and make sure we get the board. not a swarming, intimidating defense, just brutally efficient.

    man we can't do the screens for tmac for catch and shoot b/c they're switching on everything. nuggets playing great D on tmac.
