Carmelo (45) gets roughly a point per FGA and Kevin Martin gets about two points per FGA. Interesting just to watch that unfold.

Man oh man do I worry about our defense.

Many thanks to Clutch for that recap 5-minute vid of the comeback!

What one of the Nuggets fans were talking about that was interesting was Melo's production throughout the game. Yeah, it was good, but towards the end of the fourth quarter, he felt that Melo became way too obsessed with proving he could score on Battier, and so the offense became stand around and everyone else grew cold - something which would bite them in the ass when Affalo was called upon towards the end for the three.

Nice unexpected win. We need a bunch more to even get close to a playoff spot.

This is the one reg. season game that I woke and thought "wow what a win last night"

Man, such a great comeback, and folks, get ready. 2010-11 is going to be sick.

Yes, that game totally rocked! Even lower bowl people uncrossed their legs and stood up once in a while. ;)

But you're right, it was nothing compared to the playoffs last year. (For some reason, I felt the crowd was a bit muted during the '08 playoff run against Utah.) The crowd smelled blood last year against the Blazers and never let up. It was three games of insanity. The morning after every game people were hoarse but happy!

And the Laker series last year was the craziest I've ever seen or heard a Houston crowd. (I never went to the playoffs in '94 and '95, so I have no idea how insane that was at the Summit.) When we went up by 28 against LA in the second half, people showered Kobe with boos every time he touched the ball.

We need that kind of energy if we're going to go on a 13-4 run to finish the season and end up just 3 games out of the #8 playoff spot!

Cuz we ain't makin' the playoffs, folks. Let's just enjoy each game and get our hopes up for next year.

I've been looking at the box scores the last couple of games and see that Chase is hardly playing at all. Is he hurt or is this a sign he may be the odd man out next year?

ha, was in 413 too, row 2. refs were a little over the top tonight. especially when nene threw an elbow at scola, and followed it up with a shoulder into scola's chest. i know luis flops but in this case it was obviously legit and the refs completely missed it.

When Yao comes back next year to defend the paint, this team is quite unstoppable (on paper ><, because in reality we don't know how clogging the paint will effect Martin/Ariza in offense)

This team reminds me of the days when Bob Sura was playing, the days where heart and grittiness matters :D

It was annoying watching this game on Denver's broadcast. The color guy (Scott Hastings) seemed pretty hostile, and just generally miserable.

One play Lowry tried to draw a foul (perceived as a flop by the announcer) and when Kyle got up to chase Billups to contest the shot the dude angrily said "knock it in his face."

Earlier, he was talking about Kevin Martin's offensive game, and out-of-nowhere he says something like "I don't like him, but he's definitely a good scorer." I was wondering if I misheard. I don't know if I've ever heard an announcer say quite flatly that he doesn't like another player, especially someone as remarkably un-thuggish as Martin.

Not to mention they don't even mention that Carmelo may have gotten away with a travel on the last play.

Anyway, just thought the dude sound like he was ready to kill himself. Don't know if he's going through a divorce or if he's always like this.

That was the 1 line that truly got me. He gives Martin a few compliments then says I don't like him, how ridiculous was that. He did understand that basically every Rocket drives with the intention of finding contact, but he made that seem like a personality flaw. Total jackhole.

To his credit, the Rockets did look Kings-from-2002-ish out there with all the flopping.

Our perimeter is full of vet talent... he'll have to wait for a trade to get more time.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I was really hoping to see Chase and Jordan develop together during the rest of the season, but understand when comes to making the playoffs, only the best will see playing time.
