Harden averaging 5 TO's a game. I could have sworn he was more careful with the ball in OKC.

 

It's clear from this game that Lin and Parson should pack their bags and go back to the D-League and never return to the NBA ever again.

 

This is not Lin's game.... This is definitely coming from the coaching AND from his own lack of confidence. The guy is shooting over 90% at the FT line. Te guy can shoot but he is steaky... He needs a few to go down to get into his groove. But right now it's clear the coaches are asking the ball to go thru harden regardless of whether he is hot or cold, regardless if he is getting the calls or not, regardless of whether he is being doubled or not. I never saw Lin last year hand the ball over at the half court line and run to the corner hoping to get the ball back... Not even under woodsen's Melo ISO ball schemes. This is purely Mchale's coaching. It's sickening. PPat was good tonight but geez, chandler and O need to get going.... They didn't look this bad in the preseason, what happened?

 

SMH. Not passing or deferring too much doesn't mean 'take it to the hoop by himself', but means more play-making and initiating offense for the team. You are too simple-minded and a little extreme.

 

Outrageous. Lin is not a 3 point shooter deep down. Stop trying to make him one McHale!!!!!

Lin will be worth the money next year...... When Dantoni is coaching.

 

Just an all-around awful game tonight, and we still came back and had a shot at winning it.

Lin is struggling shooting the ball. He is playing OK otherwise. But man, his shooting is bad. I pray it gets better.

Harden obviously struggled, but I think a big part of that was him not getting usual calls throughout the game. He was clearly fouled on many drives, but the refs just decided to swallow their whistles tonight I guess. Poorly officiated game, but you gotta adjust.

Parsons hasn't been playing well this whole year. Not being agressive, shooting poorly, and I think he's regressed from last year so far.

PPat and Asik played well.

We just look like we don't know what we're doing out there, it's really frustrating to watch. We look like a completely different team than we were the first 2 1/2 games. This happens with a young team, but the coaching leaves a lot to be desired as well. We'll see if we can bounce back in Memphis, it's gonna be a tough game, don't have high hopes for that one.

Good point. Yeah, Lin's role on offense as a PG has completely changed. I never saw him do that last year either.

 

NOT if lakers take him first.

 

Its like the coaching staff is asking Harden to do more than what he is capable of and Lin less than what he is capable of.

I really hope McHale is not preaching HARDEN ISO offense. IF so, he needs to go.

 

About the Lin PnR -

Lin got most his points off the PnR with the Knicks, because he had a strong PnR partner in Tyson Chandler. No offense to Omer, but Chandler was the perfect compliment in the PnR because he could a) finish and b) set some amazing picks.

Omer does neither well and thus when they ever try to PnR Lin gets nothing out of it. His defender goes under the screen because Lin isn't shooting well, and Omer is neither skilled enough nor eager to receive a pass out of the PnR. Hence you see Lin resetting because unless the defense breaks down and he gets a layup, the PnR is useless for the Rockets.

Both J.Harden and K.Durant are averaging 5 TOV per games(4 gms) so far this season.

 

Agreed. By not having a proper PnR partner, we are wasting Lin and Harden , both top efficient PnR players.
