played like crap versus one of the best defensive teams in the league. not a good combination and still only lost by 6. start player didn't play his best. lots of downside but look this is the youngest team in the league and has barely been together for 2 weeks. Mcfale needs to give TJ and Donuts a chance. Props to ppatt though he played well. This game comes down to two words...GROWING PAINS. Lots of games gonna be like this one. Harden still getting used to THE GUY role also.

Bingo! It's all about Harden. Lin can't get as aggressive because of the coaching.
    IMO McHale is to blame.

I'd like to see Lin be more aggressive on offense. He's just way too passive out there.

The rockets are passing up on too many open shots.

Something needs to change and I'm thinking that should be the Head Coach.

I just need one question. If 3-ball is not falling is too much ask try 18 footer instead. This non-free flowing offense now terrible to watch. Run got dam PNR and try pop mid-range 2, go to hole or hit big man rolling to basket.

The offense is Lin dribble down and does hand off Parson or Harden. Then they do ring around the rosey try get open 3 shot. 33 3pt attempt out 84 shots.

At least one thing is for sure guys. Although this team is young they are not scared. They played with a lot of heart in those last few minutes. Need better luck with the refereeing and with the perimeter shooting.

Lacking inside threat. Maybe Morey can do something about it before trade deadline.

There is a surgery for that? What horrible advice. A better idea would be for people to stop hitting him in the nose.

McHELL said it the other day after the Portland game "We're a team that's gonna shoot a lot of 3's"

I died a little inside when I heard him say that, no wonder this offense looks so pathetic. Everyone is parked at the 3 line and when they get the ball they rather pass because they're scared to shoot knowing they're not good at 3s.

Horrible offense, this team needs a coach that will use each of the player's strength to win games.

I honestly think Harden and Lin's roles should be reversed.

Lin is faster, better playmaker between the 2. Let the PG play PG for god sakes and have Jeremy set Harden and the rest of the team up.

You don't see Kobe bringing the ball up and Nash posting in the corner or Pierce bringing the ball up and Rondo running to the corner. wtf.

Jeremy's hardly touching the ball on most possessions. I see him post in the corner, he would sometimes get the ball there and try to drive in but there's not much space along the baseline for what he likes to do.

this! . he needs to take at least 15 shots a game. He had an excellent game otherwise. He could've gotten more assists if people made their open looks. He had 6 steals. And that d on gallinari was game changing. but he just can't stay so passive on the offenseive end. He is one jumpshot away from elite dom of pg's

Nobody wants to shoot 3s except for Delfino, but are probably force to by McStale. You can tell by the hesitation.

We set good screens, they just always occur at the top of the Key. A little deception would be nice. A brush screen, back screen, double screen, anything to switch it up and give the opposition a different look.

To me it has to come from the coaching staff. They need to show Lin that they have faith in him to be the floor general and true PG of the team. In fact they've done the opposite. Lin's a good guy and he's going to do as he's told, so he's deferring. Also his confidence is probably low.

But this is what happens when you want to play hero, superstar ball. Lin's in a no win situation right now, he gets crucified no matter what. Especially on defence. It's like people think that he should be able to turn into a ghost like those guys from the Matrix reloaded and pass through a 7 foot centre when he get's picked. The opposing PG is going to blow past unless there is help on that play.

You don't get 5 rebounds and 6 steals by being a bad defender.

Lin looked angry and seem to play better towards the end. But it was too late way then.
