The same problems we exhibited during the 6 game losing streak are still there. Yao isn't getting the ball enough. We leave shooters wide open. We are still turning the ball over too much. McGrady got hot and carried us and Denver could not get an open jumper to fall. That's why we won. One win is not going to mask the team's ills, especially if they were again demonstrated on the floor.

I know you're loving it that Yao has been marginalized and McGrady is featured, but you know what happens in the playoffs with that combination, a first round exit.

    This is getting old.

Can we talk about the win? Or maybe Yao having a strong double/double? Or Tmac dropping 35 points on 57% shooting? Or Francis coming in and playing very strong on BOTH ends of the court?

My favorite plays were the two Steve Francis blocks he got on consecutive 1v1 fast breaks. The first got called a foul but it was a clean block. All in all on the night he may have had 4-5 blocks but I think only two got called that way. He also changed a few shots, and looks to me like the best defensive PG we got by far right now. Just so athletic, even now off his prime.

Agreed! But I think he should touch the ball more. He only took 5 shots tonight. I think he should take 8-10 shots at least.

That is what we, as fans, appreciate most, at least in my opinion.

I don't wanna be a debbie downer or anything.. but I'm not sure if WE played well or Denver just sucked on offense and ESPECIALLY on defense that made us look like champions tonight. Maybe both?

I mean yeah we played well, but this was against a team with no defense whatsoever.

PS Francis is our new mojo! hopefully. If he can keep it up.

    where did u get that?

i agree with you that yao should get more shots (i thought i discussed this with you earlier), but man, ALL YOU TALK ABOUT IS YAO.

it's like you're not aware of the other rockets on the floor.

Maybe you need to stop posting a while. Go see a movie. Call a girl up. The Rockets won by 27 freaking points on a back-to-back against a division leading opponent.

Yes sir he does... I hope this motivates him to start the cardio process on his own time....

Because those out of shape cramps are going to kick his butt... I would not want to sit next to him when he comes out the game...

You'd rather see Rafer sucking than Bonzi playing?

    Our 3pt FG% is still below 20%. :(
They should have a 3pt train camp.

    I could careless
If it is 20% and we average 107 Pts a night
    I could live with that

    mac just dissed JVG again.

he said the reason for the losing streak is b/c he handled the ball a lot like last yr and that's why they kept losing.

he talked to coach/yao/and players about how he shouldn't do that and that's why they won.

    lol.

You are being realistic. A lot of it had to do with Denver playing bad. But did what we should have done and buried them by 28. The energy and effort was good, which is what I was looking at. The Nugs only tried hard for about 6 minutes starting the 3rd quarter. We didn't react very well but it worked out.

Adelman is a really uninspiring speaker. His speeches put me to sleep.

    It's obvious. Tonite, T-Mac is a scorer, not a play-maker.
